One student is dead and another is in critical condition following a shooting outside South Education Center in Richfield Tuesday afternoon. According to Richfield Police Chief Jay Henthorne, who spoke during a Tuesday afternoon news conference, officers responded to the school, in the area of West 75th Street and Penn Avenue South.

"Transition Plus" is for 18-21yo non-traditional students, students with disabilities, also "Minnesota Dream Students"...undocumented. Qualifying for free breakfast, lunch, dinner, tutors in their "Home Language" Health Wellness counseling, "adaptive Learning". GED /Equivalency courses.

Also financial credit restoration programs, a coffee shop on campus run by students as "Career training", and free daycare for students who are parents.

I know what you mean OP. I have one daughter that just moved from there and another looking to buy in the cities area I want her as far from Minneapolis as possible. Typically she is unaware of her surroundings and I’m sure she would be carjacked in a heartbeat

The Minnesota DFL Party announced Wednesday that illegal immigrants and felons who haven’t completed their sentences will be allowed to participate in precinct caucuses. A new incentive has been announced in an effort to get more children fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Minnesota. On Tuesday, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said families who get their 5- to 11-year-old children fully vaccinated in January and February can get a $200 Visa gift card per child. However, in order to be eligible for the gift cards, the first and second doses must be administered between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28. Officials say families are able to receive one gift card for each eligible child who is vaccinated in that time frame.

A person's driver's license can't be suspended based solely on their failure to pay traffic tickets, parking fines or surcharges following a conviction for vehicle operation or parking citation. Generally speaking, I am not a fan of polls. For one, I’ve never been polled by anyone. For another, the number of people being polled often strikes me as too small a sample from which to draw broad conclusions. Also, those samples more often than not tend to oversample one group, Democrats, let’s say, over another group, which again leads to questions of accuracy. Bottom line, I don’t trust ‘em and tend to ignore them in preference to the only poll that actually counts, the election itself. I’ve often asked myself, what would I do if I were to be contacted to participate in a poll.
