Is it Time for Intellectuals to Talk about God?

Original Article

Posted By: Harlowe, 2/1/2022 11:35:59 AM

I recently spoke at a gathering for medical freedom advocates in a little community center in the Hudson River Valley. I cherish this group of activists: they had steadfastly continued to gather throughout the depths of the “lockdown,” that evil time in history--an evil time not yet behind us--and they kept on gathering in human spaces, undaunted. And by joining their relaxed pot-luck dinners around unidentifiable but delicious salads and chewy homemade breads, I was able to continue to remember what it meant to be part of a sane human community.

Comments:

This article, written by an American feminist author/journalist and 1999 presidential campaign consultant to Al Gore is timely, welcome, stunning and worth reading. Indeed, “we are at an unheard-of moment in human history—globally” and beyond mortal man’s ability to “fight true darkness.” This is a time of prayer, asking for God’s help.

It might be better if those "intellectuals" talked TO GOD (ie, in prayer). And hint, hint, for you intellectual types, God isn't your "Equal."

Yes, it's time. There's always time. Anyone is free to talk about God, especially self-anointed intellectuals. Some may want to brush up a bit. Riverside Sermons by Harry Emerson Fosdick is a good place to start.

I've become a fan of Naomi Wolf since she's been a regular guest on War Room. I must say, she is not only intellectually rational, but also compelling in her views. What I enjoy most about her is how she expresses herself with clarity and simplicity making her analysis irrefutable. In this article she spills her guts as she comes to the realization that there may be more than what we see and hear by false prophets from big pharma, big tech and the no nothing medical experts, politicians and their media talking heads. Her discovery of the evil intent over this past year has been awesome to hear. She was on to the what was happening long before many other journalist. although, she did point out that Glenn Greenwald may have been a step or two ahead of her in the malice that was being perpetrated on the world. Her epiphany in realizing that our spiritual essence is the most powerful part of our existence as human beings. Prayers are powerful and miracles happen and those of us who are spirituals beings know this to be true. Yes Naomi, that bright light you are experiencing is the light of God that is shining out of you from your inner spirit... aka, the Holy Spirit.

Only "intellectuals" can be so stupid and blind as to deny the existence of God. It takes a WHOLE lot of "education" to be that stupid.

Must Read. Humanity was never meant to exist apart from its creator. Times like this are a reminder of that fact. Look at what is going on around us. Look at what is going on in the world. We have lost the ability to reason, and we are turning on one another. it's going to get worst. God wants EVERYONE to come to him. Of their own free will. God allows things to happen as a reminder that we cannot do this alone. We need God.

"Is it Time for Intellectuals to Talk about God?" Yes. This whole pandemic situation has been like watching a redo of 1936-1941 Europe - history repeating itself. The forces of darkness governing this world are powerful, unrelenting and perfectly willing to use the innate fear of death to ensnare or manipulate entire populations. That is the one thing all scary, authoritarian times in human history have in common: acquiesence due to threats/fear of death: obey or die. Those who take pride and refuge in their 'superior' education are just as afraid to die as the uneducated. It is the one thing we all have in common. No one is exempt except those who have already dealt with their mortality, assured that their eternal destination is in heaven with God and knowing they are here until God says otherwise. Those who live united with God by salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, die united with God and go to be with Him after death. Without that blessed assurance, there is only a nagging fear of death. We live our whole lives scared to death of dying. Look at us during the pandemic, running to participate in a genetic experiment completely unmoored from adequate testing or informed consent; based on nothing more than a promise the treatment will keep us alive. Did we question the loss of our livelihoods, businesses and freedoms as we were forced to wait for it? Did we question the lack of early, outpatient treatment? Did we ask how the products were made or what was in them? Did we question the blank patient information insert or even ask for a copy? Did we ask about potential long-term side effects? Did we question why the manufacturers have no liability for a medical treatment said to be "safe and effective"? NO. Just please Mr./Ms Health Official - I will believe whatever you say, do whatever you tell me to do if you save me from death. Yes, this is a time of prayer, asking for God’s help. John Adams, one of our Founding Fathers observed, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." We are no longer a moral or religious people and it shows. Now, we are in danger of being overwhelmed by a handful of corrupt, evil people hell-bent on doing great wickedness for their own gain. Constitution?? What constitution? Rights?? What rights? Freedom/body autonomy?? Uh, no - not for you. To those who believe in the power of prayer, please get on it: pray for the forgiveness of our personal and corporate sins; pray for the restoration of our National Conscience, our personal relationships with God and about the damage being done to our children; pray for the protection of and unassailable platforms for Truth Speakers; ask God for help to resolve the specific issues which burden your heart and stay on it until the manifestation of victory over the forces of darkness is complete. Amen.

I have really been impressed with the former lefties who allowed their eyes to be opened and, swayed by truth and logic made their conversion to the sane and rational side. Naomi Wolf is one of those people that I changed the channel when they appeared. Like Tammy Bruce and Leo Terrell they parroted all the talking points they were given. Donald Trump and the success he had with the policies that they claimed couldn't work opened their eyes and we have to give them the credit that is due them. It could not have been easy to admit that they were taken in by false "concern" for the working class and minorities. It can't be easy now that they are associated with we the 'Deplorables" I wonder how many "friends" they still have from their other life? I am really glad that Wolf brought God back into the conversation. My opposition to the "vaccine" was it's connection to fetal cells being used either in the injection or during testing. I have been told by family members that I am naive and ridiculous because I firmly believe that God would never be behind and "cure" that resulted from the deaths of innocents. My husband and I were told that his family would not attend Thanksgiving dinner at our house and, if still "unvaccinated" we were not to attend Christmas dinner at their house. So be it. Living in constant fear is no good for anyone either. AND...while all are vaccinated Christmas at their house was cancelled for all because all the grandchildren had Covid. Living in Illinois, we are lucky enough to live in a neighborhood like the one described in her article. Neighbors still talk, dogs are walked, the Farmer's Market and garage sales were well attended this past summer. I think it's because we have a overwhelming amount of flags flying on the houses. Venturing outside the subdivision, we must be masked in stores but outside people seem very comfortable talking face to face. Nothing but good will come from turning back to God.

If Justin Trudeau had merely removed trucks from blocking a bridge in protest of vaccine mandates, it would be no big deal. Protesters for various causes routinely get removed from blocking traffic. But that’s not all Justin Trudeau did. He suspended civil liberties in Canada, targeting peaceful protesters and anyone who supports them. Not because those supporters committed a crime, but because they supported the political opposition to Trudeau’s government. Trudeau ordered all financial institutions to freeze the assets of his political opposition without court order and with full immunity from liability, and no financial asset was spared.

U.S. troops had left Kabul, and the Taliban had taken complete control. “Enter Ukraine,” the article read, “a small but battle-hardened nation.”(Snip)...
