The saying goes that crises reveal your true nature. If that’s the case, we are in big trouble, because what COVID has revealed about young people in America is not good.
A new Morning Consult poll out this week finds that young people are the most worried about getting COVID of any age group — even though their risk from the disease is negligible.
At the other end of the spectrum, the elderly are much less worried, even though they are at the highest risk of death.
The poll found that 23% of those between ages 18-34 are “very worried

My kids and grand kids are more worried about the wife and I getting it. We are not jabbed and will not get jabbed. They don't push it and are going on with their lives without any other fear of the china flu.

Because social media and the left's covid meme have so polluted the minds of our young people, it is little wonder why the teen suicide rate is at an all-time high. My advice to our young people - reject leftism, stand tall, and come join us freedom-loving Americans.
Young people, may I refer you to a certain document that was published in the year 1776 that contains the following passage -
"We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness...:"
Remember "Happiness"? Lay this one on your lefty school principal and tell him/her/it where they can insert their covid fear mongering, and that America, as founded, is making a permanent comeback.

I'm not surprised by the statistics. The young adults do seem fearful. When I see people without masks I generally see senior citizens. Never that 18-34 group. Maybe they know about that "we'll all die some day" thing.

No surprise. With the daily media blitz, the frequent proclamations from Mount Fauci and the garbage they are being taught in the public schools, it's a wonder that they are not all basket cases hiding in the corners. We adults have lived through major catastrophes, diseases like AIDS and Ebola and listened to the same horror stories but were smart enough to separate the facts from the BS. We did not let the government control us. Not so with the young and dumb.

My 24 year old son lives in an extremely blue state and he is so disturbed with the fact I will not take the jab. All is friends go to an extremely left wing college and it is hard to sit there and hear all the garbage he has bought into from them. It is textbook wokeness on every subject.
All I can do is pray and hope he comes to his senses at some point.

I visit YouTube at night what I witness the young better be worried. There's so much mistrust, hatred and violence out there. Young women are the worse the Karens are abound. Without covid involved they are stupid insulting morons.

I have started to noticed some young people, that used to be totally ignorant of things, waking up (in a good way) realizing that the elites are not their friends, they need to resist and fight back. I am hopeful the trend will grow.

Yep, I agree with the poster above -- didn't need Covid to see this -- poll after poll showed that this same age group is terrified that global warming/climate change is an existential threat -- so much so that many have decided to forgo having children because the earth is going to DIE and we're all going to DIE right along with it, so how can they possibly bring children into this situation?! Mind-numbing stupidity.

This is what passes for "values" taught in government schools. While mom and dad are racing with the other rats, the "educators" are at work. While the kiddies will learn all about social injustice and the need to "follow the science", they will have trouble making change at the local convenience store or reading an analog clock. From what I have read, the youngster might be dying 2-3 years after taking the jab if they live that long. Incidences of cancer and heart issues abound in the young. #15 If that were my child and I was paying for his college, I might be making some changes. You're being warned what kind of education he is getting.
