As I Found Out With My Daughter, Not Even
Catholic Schools Are Safe Havens From
Gender Ideology

My husband and I looked to a Catholic school to be an ally in our fight to break our daughter free from the grip of gender confusion. We were naive. Our daughter, now 15, was 13 when she was coached into believing that she was born in the wrong body and could change to be the opposite sex. This led her to self-loathing. But instead of finding a partner within the Roman Catholic Church, we discovered that our local Catholic high school had adopted procedures that promote transgenderism. This situation has left us with no safe place to educate our child and a profound feeling of disappointment and abandonment.

Comments:

This is horrifyingly detailed. These Catholic parents thought the Catholic school would help them wean their daughter from her trans delusion. Instead they were all-out supportive of it, and horrible to the parents. Luckily the parents were persistent.

Enough with the gender ID talk. We have two genders and if someone want to change I don't care but leave kids alone and stop trying to sell everyone on the idea.

Catholics have the Anti-Christ as their Pope... Expectations are being met. Most Denominational Churches are getting like this. Presbyterian, Lutheran, Protestant... Getting further and further away from Christianity.

Not a huge surprise, OR the fact that the author could not communicate with Bishops et al.......one of my great arguments with the Catholic Church (and I am a non church attending Catholic but consider myself a Catholic as God designated) is that they offer not one single way to get in touch with them on any matter, e.g. "Catholic" politicians who are pro abortion etc. They operate in their own bubble. There are a few very courageous priests and bishops who, for example, refuse communion (when she is at home; I am sure she manages in D.C. and thus keeps the Catholic vote) to Nancy Pelosi, who is very very pro abortion.

This aberrant behavior has to stop. It is child endangerment. Some brave parents need to to file a lawsuit for child endangerment against some of these schools that insist on re-orienting children to their opposite bio sex. It is an ill conceived ideology that is using children for others lurid & perverse beliefs. This ideology is pure evil.

This is so disturbing to those of us who love the Catholic school. Way back, I worked with members of The Heritage Foundation speaking to Catholic schools and other groups on the need for a choice in education through voucher's based on the tax money they paid the government.towards education in general. While Catholic school's out performed public schools, consistently, by every measure but there were public schools that were very good in areas where tax revenue was higher. In less affluent areas kids were condemned to an "education" in the local gang recruitment center. After proclaiming the excellence of a Catholic education, in which I firmly believe, I also included a warning from St. John Paul II from a speech he gave to Catholic educators in Italy in '78 or '79. As he spoke to parents about their obligation to educate their children in the Faith, he also warned them that simply enrolling them in a Catholic school did not absolve them of any further responsibility. Paraphrasing, he told them to be vigilant. They were to get to know the teachers and what is being taught. To know the pastor and the teachers and their character and to challenge anything that was not right. Do not remain silent when the souls of your children are at stake. I had a wonderful education but there were a few nut jobs along the way. Nothing was even close to the insanity that the kids a confronted with today. I also had parents and grandparents who had been educated by real nuns and priests and who has the ability to explain and defend the Faith. We also had a Pope who was a faithful servant who spoke truth and was not obsessed with "bending" commandments and pleasing the special interests. There are many who are in for a very rude awakening when the face the Creator.

Sounds like you need to home school. And talk to your Bishop. Catholic schools are often more secular than public schools because liberals LOVE to destroy christian values, and take every oportunity to infiltrate and destroy them.

Stop berating the Catholic Church. Every church has their skeletons except that it's the Catholics who are always the whipping boy of the media. I have a niece who controlled my sister and her husband by telling them she'd commit suicide since she was a toddler (it was a dysfunctional marriage by the way), and my sister and her, now, former husband, walked on eggshells the entire time my niece lived with them. My niece is gay. Gee, isn't that a surprise? Kids have too much control over their parents these days. They need a good whack on the toosh every now and then, and parents telling them that THIS IS WRONG! Watch inhisimagethemovie.com. These gender benders change their minds after 30 years of living as the opposite sex. And they regret it!

When I read this story with all the mixed-up teachers involved, it looks like the problem is the curriculum used to train teachers for our children. The only way to halt this abuse of children in the education system is to clean out ALL THE UNIVERSITIES' EDUCATION PROGRAMS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. This is a form of child abuse, and the teachers seem to be all involved in it and approving of it. They have been brainwashed.

The Catholic Church over the last forty years has done nothing to enhance it's standing as an organization with moral authority. Saint John Paul, II was the last real moral authority in the church. It is a shame that the founding church of Christianity has fallen for the secular insanity of the Marxists who populate it. Any organization that sanctions pedophiles by moving the perpetrators from place to place is the last place to send a child for an education.

Of the more than 725 Americans arrested so far for various crimes related to the Capitol protest on January 6, 2021, nearly every defendant faces the same two misdemeanor charges: “entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds” and “disorderly conduct in a restricted building or grounds.” The basis for the offenses is not, as the American people repeatedly have been told, that the building was closed to the public that day. (Snip) Instead, the Justice Department has argued that the presence of both Vice President Michael Pence and incoming Vice President Kamala Harris rendered entry into the Capitol on January 6 a federal crime

After the Jan. 6 insurrection, the Capitol Police’s intelligence unit quietly started scrutinizing the backgrounds of people who meet with lawmakers, according to three people familiar with the matter. POLITICO also viewed written communications describing the new approach, part of a host of changes that the department implemented after the Capitol attack. Examining the social media feeds of people who aren’t suspected of crimes, however, is a controversial move for law enforcement and intelligence officials given the civil liberties concerns it raises. Among those who have been subject to new Capitol Police scrutiny are Hill staffers, the three people said. All spoke on condition of anonymity

One way to understand the story of the last 75 years of American social life is by looking at the ebb and flow of serious crime. There was a golden age of low crime after World War II and before the “Age of Aquarius.” Lulled into optimism by the 1950s—during which critics belabored the oppressions of “conformity”—a more nuanced view of criminal responsibility, a turn towards the promise of rehabilitation, and a general skepticism of punishment took place. “Radical chic” became popular. The death penalty went away, and the prison population plummeted, along with that of the psychiatric wards. Then, all hell broke loose.

Washington—Republicans’ faith in science is falling as Democrats rely on it even more, with a trust gap in science and medicine widening substantially during the COVID-19 pandemic, new survey data shows. That is unsurprising to more than a dozen scientists reached for comment by The Associated Press, but it concerns many of them.
