A northern Pennsylvania school teacher was photographed taping a mask to a male student to force the child to comply with the school district’s mask mandate.
The photograph appeared on the Facebook page of North Penn Stronger Together, a community group whose “mission is to bring parent & community concerns to NPSD (Northern Pennsylvania School District) leaders with respect and impact.” [Tweet]
The North Penn School District confirmed that the picture is genuine.
Fox News:
“Pro-mask or anti-mask, I hope we can all agree that taping masks to children’s faces crosses the LINE,” the Facebook group North Penn Stronger Together posted online Monday with the photo.

Crossing the line isn't half of it. The teacher should be fired.

NOBODY with that kind of Nurse Rachet mentality has ANY business being in charge of other people’s children! That kind of person derives her/his personal satisfaction in imposing her/his quirky ideas of authority on the defenseless. Some teachers are the dumbest people I ever met.

Agree with #1. This woman should never step foot in a classroom again. If that was my child, she would be in the unemployment line and she would never be allowed near another child in her life.

Believe it or not, I can remember a time when teachers actually taught. Yankee Commies like this one are little more than cell block enforcers of Lord Fauci’s foolishness.

If the parents don’t press charges, ugh not really what I want to say, on this crazy, not really what I want to say either, then they are no better than her.

Time has long past for respect for these districts that employ these monsters. Because the only thing these monsters understand is the fury of the parents of the kids the monsters are abusing right now. Respect is for those who earn it, not those that abuse it like these teachers.
IMO, since those teachers are not respecting the kids in their charge, they deserve no respect from the parents.

If my memory serves me correctly, North Penn school district is not in Northern PA, as the article says, but in southeast PA.

I remember two incidents from grade school over 50 years ago.
The first was a third-grade schoolteacher making two kids stand up in front of the classroom with their mouths taped shut because they had been talking in class. Both had worked the tape loose from their lower lip and were making faces. Every kid saw it, but the teacher either missed it or chose not to notice.
The other was a sixth-grade schoolteacher who went around and put a piece of tape on every student's desk as a warning of what would happen if they talked in class. Quite a few kids would start playing with their tape when they got bored.
Not the same as what happened in this article but have to wonder how many teachers have used tape on students.

There are a lot of people out there who are deathly afraid of the virus. Naturally, some of them are teachers. Some are congressmen. They may never again be productive members of society. We can only hope that their pathetic little lives move over to the shoulder and let the living move on.

I saw the unredacted photo of this the other day. The teacher is most lucky that wasn't one of my grandkids.

A teacher forces her own son to ride in the trunk. Teachers tape masks to kids' faces. Teachers make kids eat lunch outside in freezing temperatures. Teachers refuse to teach shutting down schools. And all so the teachers don't catch Covid.
Let's abolish public school teachers!!

Where's this child's parent? Before firing or arrest, an adult spanking aka beatdown is in order. That's all they understand; if parents had spanked more of their children, we wouldn't have so many of these foolish adult people functioning in power positions in society today.

If I was the student, this would never have happened, and I'd NEVER go back to the school under any circumstances.

This teacher would be dealt with harshly if that was my kid. Then fired and arrested. Never to be around kids again. Not all teachers are saints and some are the dumbest fakest people I’ve ever met.

This child's parents need to withdraw the child from the school district, relocate him or her elsewhere, and sue. The damage done to the child of public humiliation is substantial. The school system needs to be taught an expensive lesson.
And the teacher? In an earlier era, the parents would have had a quiet talk with the principal or the head of the school board. And that teacher would not be there anymore. I also doubt that was a first time for that teacher. That actually happened with one of my teachers who was publicly abusing students in 8th grade, including sexual innuendo. Removed by end of year after multiple complaints by parents.

A memory from grade school. An American draft dodger was teaching in my friend's class. He demanded that my friend refer to him as SIR. This was not done in our community. We called teachers Mister. He tormented her and she still refused to call him Sir.
Her big brawny Welsh Father stormed into the classroom demanding to know when Her Majesty the Queen had knighted him. The bully teacher backed down poste haste. Parents need to get involved. : )
