Newly-minted Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin started his first day in office with a bang that could reverberate across the nation as a signal to other governors on the fence between the people and the donor class.
Signing a slate of executive orders, Youngkin fulfilled some of the biggest promises he made to voters during his groundbreaking gubernatorial run. The orders include:
Ending the use of Critical Race Theory in public education
Investigating “wrongdoing” in Loudon County
Opening the economy for all business
Withdrawing from previous “green energy”

In one day he reverses much of what the commies (Democrats) have been doing for decades. I'd love to see their faces now.

Not just a good start, but a great start! Next step: Eliminate the rodents in government who promoted and implemented those policies. You don't clean house just by getting rid of the rat poop. You have to get rid of the rats.

Now it's time to hold accountable the many people that tried to destroy American society and culture. A good place to start is the many Knotseez within the MSM.

Abruptly transformed from an embarrassed Virginian to being a proud Virginian. Looking forward to hearing the real President, D.J.Trump, speak tonight.

This is wonderful if they put in place restrictions making it almost impossible for the commies to cheat in future elections; and put teeth in the laws and rules so that any local or state 'officials' or politicians (including judges) who enable through inaction or assist actively in any election fraud are given a fair 5-min trial and then summarily executed. Until these commies know they have serious skin in the game there is no disincentive to attempt to cheat and if caught say, 'Oh well, a mistake'. And then try, try again.

#1, the state of Virginia does not allow its governors to serve consecutive terms. That’s why Terry McAwful ran last year and not in 2017 after his first term was up.
And Red State might want to hire some editors. It’s Loudoun County, not Loudon.
Otherwise, this is great news. My daughter and her family live in Loudoun.

Wondering if there is some way the new governor can rescind the vaccine mandates at Virginia's state colleges and universities? My unvaccinated son could not register for classes this semester after a hold was put on his account pending vaccination.

True #7 & #12.
But it lays the foundation for that wonderful gun wielding Lt Gov to get elected.

My son and I passed through Richmond late this morning on our way to visit my parents in Chesterfield. I really would have liked to have attended the inauguration ceremony, but I had promised my parents we'd go to lunch with them. I've always been proud to be a Virginian (my roots go back to colonial days), but that pride is tenfold today. It's going to be a good four years here.

Just saw Charlie Kirk in person at the reawaken America tour. “Work your a$$ off for your elected officials and let theM know what must happen on day 1! Get to the root of the covid thing with Fauci, the vaxx, and big Pharma. Find out the FBI’s involvement on J6. Expose the teachers union and the AG’s coordinated threat to parents. Expose voter fraud in the 2020 election!” DAY ONE FOLKS!

Great start.
Would hope he sends a strong signal to the woke Taliban-like left wing cancel culture tribe by ordering the replacement of all of the statues removed from state institutions and state land, forbidding the removal of any statue from state land, and reversing the recent changes of names of state buildings by the wokesters to return to the initial name thereof. Also, do not allow municipal or county governments to rename any roadway that is a state highway. Reverse the woke!

Things are looking up in Virginia. As a descendant of Robert King Carter and a distant cousin of Robert E. Lee, I am encouraged by his election. This election of Youngkin has to be frightening to the Dems and the radical left.

I already like the cut of this man's jib. The same goes for Virginia's new AG, Jason Miyares.
From a ZH article: "Within hours of taking office, Virginia's newly sworn-in Attorney General Jason Miyares cleaned house - firing dozens of lawyers, including those in the Civil Rights division - and announcing investigations into the Virginia Parole Board and Loudon County Public Schools."
What would really be the cherry on top would be for Youngkin to issue an EO to re-erect the Robert E. Lee monument in Richmond.

Younkin better read or appoint a commission to look at Mayorkas' son-in-law's textbooks then. I wouldn't put it beyond those 2 creeps to issue the same textbook with a word changed here and there. Like the word "the". After all, there's lots of money involved which they won't want to give up.

More power to him. I'm claiming a part of his governorship since I prayed earnestly and often that he would win and the same also for Winsome Sears, the Lt. Gov.
