A teen girl was gunned down and killed during a robbery while working her shift at a Harlem Burger King—with the killer making off with only $100. Kristal Bayron-Nieves, 19, was working as a cashier at the Burger King at 116th Street and Lexington Avenue in East Harlem around early Sunday morning when an armed robber entered the restaurant at around 1am. The gunman pistol-whipped a male customer before punching a female manager in the face. Bayron-Nieves, who just started the job three weeks ago, gave the robber $100 cash from the drawer, an eyewitness said, according to her mother. The criminal turned to leave,

Shot to death because she is light-skinned? Harlem has been a scary place to be avoided ever since the 60's growing up in a town on the commuter line to NYC. On trips to the city we ALWAYS avoided going near Harlem. Hate to say this, but Blacks were the majority of the criminals back then. Are we going to riot and loot? C'mon y'all!

Now, is this one of the 'crimes' the new soros appointed D.A. has said won't be prosecuted? Don't know why criminals need to carry a weapon in N.Y. since there will no longer be any repercussions for whatever crime you want to commit.

There is a class among blacks as to the degree of blackness. But this poor girl was working and I don't care what color she was, she did not deserve this. Neither does her mother deserve to feel guilt. We've all insisted our teens get a job. You did nothing wrong, mom. My sympathies to your family.

Mayor Adams what say you about crime in YOUR city? Do you care about these young people working hard to get ahead? She was not sitting at home collecting the free $600 a month but out working hard in a scary place to get a better life! Maybe we should offer to move people from state to state who want to work rather than take freebies- those are the ones truly reaching for the American Dream!

I know little about this except what I read. But this robber was leaving and turned around to kill this girl. WHY? IMO because she was light skinned and either white or he thought she was. IMO this is a hate crime . White people are under attack . The time is nearing when we may have to fight back, if the law doesn't do anything about it.

Very sad, some jobs are very dangerous. I worked three nights in college at an all night gas station out on the edge of the college town where I went to school. The second night I was surprised when a man walked up ...no car. An older guy, he asked how I was and said that he tried to keep an eye on the place "after what happened". I was ignorant and asked...he explained that the reason the job opened was that the previous night clerk had been robbed and killed. He showed me that he was armed and said he'd try to help if needed, thgen pointed to his nearby home. I got my only handgun, a .22, and kept it by the cash register for one more night, then decided to find a safer job. Lots of night clerk jobs have been very dangerous for a long time. Still very sad. These murderers should be executed.

Some good advice with wisdom in mind, a black with a gun is going to use it. A black male will shoot his parents, his brother, his girlfriend his best friend. Robbery and murder are in their DNA. Don't think if you show how not racist you are if you are white will save you in a confrontation with an armed black predator, he will kill you. I carry a handgun at all times and will not wave it around to show force but a black I will cut a swath around because they will kill you. Be forewarned this girl was killed because the perp had a gun, she followed BK rules gave up the money and still lost her life. This is horrible now blacks are the new guarded super race just watch TV commercials they are special white guilt is going to get us all killed.

U.S. regulators on Friday authorized the first COVID-19 shots for infants and preschoolers, paving the way for vaccinations to begin next week. The Food and Drug Administration's action follows its advisory panel's unanimous recommendation for the shots from Moderna and Pfizer. The country’s eyes are trained on high-profile massacres in Texas and Buffalo, but most mass shootings bear little resemblance to those. Of 267 incidents this year classified as mass shootings by the Gun Violence Archive, nearly all can be tied to gang beefs, neighborhood arguments, robberies or domestic incidents that spiraled out of control. Indiscriminate slaughter by a lone gunman blasting away at a store, school or some other public place is rare, according to a Washington Times analysis of the archive’s data, accounting for less than 4% of the total.(Snip)Many, particularly those on the streets or that stem from gang issues, involve multiple shooters spraying bullets.

A Catholic private school in Massachusetts has been excommunicated by a local bishop after ignoring orders to remove pride and BLM flags. The Nativity School of Worcester has been sanctioned by Robert J. McManus, the Bishop of the Diocese of Worcester, for their refusal to take them down. He says the facility - the only tuition-free private school in the region - cannot continue to call itself Catholic while flying in the face of key church teachings. The school, run by Principal Emily Kent is the only tuition-free private middle school in the region and serves about 60 students.
