Measles has been spotted in two children in Minnesota including one whose illness was so severe it led to them being hospitalized, local health officials say. The youngsters—both under five years old—started displaying symptoms of the disease shortly after returning from an unnamed nation where 'measles is common'. While one child is on emergency wards at a hospital the second is currently in isolation at home.(Snip)Measles has been eliminated in the United States for almost 20 years thanks to a comprehensive vaccination program. But globally the disease continues to circulate in a handful of countries including Brazil, India and areas of West and Central Africa.

Professional tennis players are not allowed into the US if they haven't had a covid-jab but we allow children who are not vaccinated against the measles on international flights?

In about 1960, when I was five, I caught what my pediatrician called "red measles," (aka measles) remember the red blotches on my skin and feeling miserable when my temperature hit 105. I was a sick little boy. One-oh-five: That was just a number to me, but years later my mother told me that for her and my father not to show their fear to me or my younger siblings was tough to do. They had to keep it inside.
Our sisters all got shots for German measles to protect their reproductive health, but I don't remember any other children than myself who had the red measles. I was well taken care of and prayed for, and recovered. But that illness did threaten my life. And more than one doctor has suspected that my myopia from the fourth grade was caused by that illness. By all means, get the two dose MMR vaccine if you need it.

But no, the CDC is concentrating on Covid vaccinations for a near 100% survivable disease in that age group. Thanks to the illegals, we now get to watch children die from real diseases like mumps, measles, polio, tuberculosis, etc. These clowns are totally incompetent!

Isn't it just a little suspicious that no matter what the question, the answer is to get a government shot?

And those coming across our southern border are not "economic refugees". If they were, they would not have smart-phones, new sneakers, new backpacks, new clothes, etc. The Hate America Crowd wants to till our country with those who do not speak, read or write English. Just one big Tower of Babel. The Hate Crowd especially does not want our country to be One Nation Under God. I read about five of the tools the devil uses to break you: deception, division, derision, discouragement, and depression - especially division. How can we be the United States of America when we do not have a common language? We are in a spiritual war. Fast more. Pray harder.

Had it as a kid and survived, along with chicken pox, the flu and numerous colds. No vaccine, no mask and three days off from school. The old immune system has been working flawlessly ever since.
