Neither he nor his wife have a true understanding of the situation. They control nothing. They do as the law requires them to. Baldwin might have gotten away with a lot in life but I don't think he will bluff his way out of this. And the wifey needs to tend to her kids and stop prancing around making statements.

The local sheriff and the district attorney should have got a search warrant on the day the incident occurred for all the phones belonging to people who handled the firearms and ammunition that were on that set. What if Baldwin’s phone is now reported lost or stolen or has been erased?

How can that be??? The DA SDNY is YUUUGE into enforcing subpoenas for information, computers, data, even international bank records, and attorney client privileged information. Surely He/she/it would immediately send a "Team"(there are nearly 150 dedicated investigators) to lockdown, search, and recover ALL requested information there in the "District". I think Baldwin even knows the guy, didn't they appear at an Anti-Trump event where Baldwin demanded Trump/Rudy.Jr and everyone else immediately turn over ALL "requested" stuff even without Subpoena? Then again, perhaps just this "Media Mention" will trigger a team Deployment...several times in the past the DA SDNY sent investigators based upon nothing BUT media stories.

Brings back Gollum's line from Tolkien's The Hobbit: "What has it got in its pocketses?" There's something on that phone that Baldwin doesn't want to give up. I wonder what it is. So, too, does New Mexico law enforcement. If "Alex" had just gotten NRA training years ago instead of emoting about guns all the time, this tragedy would never have happened. I bet Keanu Reeves aka John Wick (with three good movies under his belt and two more to come) isn't going to ban guns on his movie sets. Dwayne "The Rock" wussed out and decided to go gun free in sympathy with Baldwin. Why? Afraid of something?

Omicron could be even less deadly than flu, scientists believe in a boost to hopes that the worst of the pandemic is over. Some experts have always maintained that the coronavirus would eventually morph into a seasonal cold-like virus as the world develops immunity through vaccines and natural infection. But the emergence of the highly-mutated Omicron variant appears to have sped the process up. MailOnline analysis shows Covid killed one in 33 people who tested positive at the peak of the devastating second wave last January, compared to just one in 670 now. But experts believe the figure could be even lower because of Omicron.

Hospitalizations of U.S. children under 5 with COVID-19 soared in recent weeks to their highest level since the pandemic began, according to government data released Friday on the only age group not yet eligible for the vaccine. The worrisome trend in children too young to be vaccinated underscores the need for older kids and adults to get their shots to help protect those around them, said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since mid-December, with the highly contagious omicron variant spreading furiously around the country, the hospitalization rate in these youngest kids has surged to more than 4 in 100,000 children, up from 2.5 per 100,000.
