South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) has advanced a bill in the state legislature that would codify her executive orders limiting transgender athletes to competing only in categories that correspond to their birth gender. Noem filed the bill on Tuesday to limit K-12 girl’s school sports and state-funded colleges to allowing only natural-born girls to compete in girl’s categories, according to the Argus Leader. The governor issued her two executive orders in March after the legislature rejected her revisions of House Bill 1217.

A former Las Vegas police officer is facing federal charges as surveillance video shows him knocking out a postal worker. Retired Las Vegas Police officer Robert Gutierrez told police he punched a postal worker and officers told Gutierrez they didn’t think him punching a federal employee would be an issue.
The surveillance video showed Gutierrez walk up to the mail carrier while he was standing near a U.S. Postal Service vehicle parked along a curb in the 500 block of Sun Drive. When the carrier stepped onto the sidewalk, Gutierrez appeared to punch the man in the face, according to the complaint.
Jupiter is a pretty little town on the east coast of Florida — it's about 90 miles north of Miami. It's not a huge place. It's a safe and orderly place. Tons of nice people live there. Not all of them, by the way, are rich, which is unusual for a coastal town. It's a normal place. In other words, it's the country you remember. You wouldn't mind living there, for sure.

The fact that the FBI has lost its way has been on public display for at least five years now. Truth be told, it probably strayed off course way before that. But during the Trump Presidency, it became too obvious to ignore. It has been involved in everything from the creation of an “insurance policy” against the peaceful transition of power, to the targeting of parents as domestic terrorists for the sin of disagreeing with school boards. How did our “premier law enforcement agency” stray so far from its motto of fidelity, bravery, and integrity?
Simply put, the FBI’s current state is the result of horrible leadership.
