The student newspaper at an Ohio college known for its left-leaning politics published a column addressing the number of white students attending campus concerts. “When there are so few resources for non-white students on campus, it can be upsetting when concerts headlined by artists of color are dominated by white students,” wrote Kayla Kim, a first-year student at Oberlin College. Very timely article. I recently attended a concert at a prestigious university. The 675 capacity hall was packed. But, as I surveyed the attendees during intermission I was unable to detect a single black person. The audience was mostly middle aged and older with a few young couples thrown in and somebody with a baby in the back. I brought my observation up with my son-in-law last night. He stated that the most likely explanation was the the a cappella group's performance of historic carols from around the world simply did not appeal to black culture. I pointed out that, if there were a representative proportion of the population at the concert there should have been around 85 AAs and it was obvious that their lack of attendance must be due to racism and that, if they were simply disinclined to attend then it must have been even worse - systemic racism! Surely there must be a robust choral music program at the university and just as surely it must have a fair proportion of AAs since many fine musicians and singers are undeniably black! And surely the university heavily supports engagement of the AA community because they have a diversity administrator hiding behind every bush. Our conversation resulted in a reluctant agreement that it may be necessary for people of color and woke recalcitrant whites to hold a peaceful protest against the obvious, potentially systemic racism at the facility in question.

The university I attended back in the late 1960s, had a black student association, and they selected one big artist or artists for their black day on campus. Black students voted on the selection of the band. And for1970, the black students overwhelmingly voted to hire 'Average White Band" (Full name, Any Black Band is Better Than an average white band.) Black leaders schiffed their pants! It was fun to watch the dispute.

I lived near an independent Christian college, that all Summer long, they had free school band concerts, neighborhood events and even hosted a couple POW WOWs of Native American tribal gatherings. In this urban mid size city, very few Blacks ever came for these outdoor, FREE events. Culturally - they were not interested. But hey - the basketball games were well attended tho.

Back in the '60's music artists could afford a free concert because their main income was off of record sales. Not any more! The concert is the main, nearly only form of income for musicians. Blacks can't insist on free (or, as they call them, all-black) concerts.

Why don’t these guys get down to the real issue here? There are too many whites alive. Would they cheerfully endorse ethnic cleansing? Sterilize us into non-existence? I don’t doubt there are great numbers of COPs that seriously entertain that idea. Why else the cowardly black attacks on elderly whites across the country? We know the motivation of the Waukesha Mower. The list goes on and on. Thanks to Barack Hussein Obama and his acolytes.

Blacks are in the minority both on this campus and in the country. That is the simple reason there are more white people at events than black. To counter that they are trying to cultivate ‘black privilege’ as if that will fix it. Asking whites to give up their seats because blacks arrived later than they did is blatant racism and does nothing but create resentment. Sadly the moonbeams running this college are part of the problem and not the solution.

Students of Color had better think before they speak. All of those fat white girls standing in the front lines at your peaceful demonstrations protect you from the retaliation that you deserve. The White and Asian students at college overwhelmingly fund the POC students who are there on a free ride. White students buying rap garbage disguised as music is what keeps your performers supplied with drugs, limousines and fat white women. IOW, don't bite the white hand that feeds you or you might have to get a job after college where your African American Studies degree will not be well received in the corporate world.

Will these Karens ever be happy? First, they want exclusive classes for people of color, last I looked whites is a color, but aside from that, when they have an all people of color show and the audience is lax, they complain that the non-color people are bigots for not attending. Then when then the people of color have a show and it is filled with the non-color people they complain. It would be much easier if everyone stayed home. Right?
