Target Steps on the Rake -- Again

Brian Cornell is the CEO of Target. They pay him $20 million a year. He is an idiot who canceled Christmas (or tried to) for hundreds of kids in Florida. For many years, Target partnered with local police to “Shop with a Cop” for Christmas. These are poor kids who may not get much from Santa. Cornell canceled that this year. In Florida, Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly sent Cornell a letter, and W4GVL posted it. The site is an apolitical Florida Gators fan site, so you can see Cornell struck a nerve. Hard. (snip) "Then on October 6, 2021 my staff received an email abruptly cancelling the partnership.

Palm Coast is a nice (very crowded) mostly retiree community 30 minutes south of St Augustine and 30 minutes north of Daytona, so I don't expect a flash mob to rob their store. If a flash mob does show up somewhere else, I wonder if it will take the police a little longer to respond? Proabaly not, unlike Cornell, they know what they're doing.

Remember,Target is the store that supports men in women's restrooms and changing rooms. They are also a funder of the GLSEN organization that is working to put LGBTQ-Trans books in school libraries. Don't shop with the enemy. Target is not apolitical and hasn't been for some time. What is it going to take for conservatives to boycott these businesses? I NEVER shop there and haven't in years.

For the first time amid the pandemic, the U.S. government compensation program will pay out one of the 4,751 claims alleging injuries or death arising from the administration of a covered countermeasure used to diagnose, treat, or prevent COVID-19. The Biden administration will offer bonuses to doctors who "create and implement an anti-racism plan" under new rules from the Department of Health and Human Services, a move meant to update Medicare payments to "reflect changes in medical practice." Effective Jan. 1, Medicare doctors can boost their reimbursement rates by conducting "a clinic-wide review" of their practice's "commitment to anti-racism." The plan should cover "value statements" and "clinical practice guidelines," according to HHS, and define race as "a political and social construct, not a physiological one"—a dichotomy many doctors say will discourage genetic testing and worsen racial health disparities.

Japan’s ministry of health is taking a sensible, ethical approach to Covid vaccines. They recently labeled the vaccines with a warning about myocarditis and other risks. They also reaffirmed their commitment to adverse event reporting to document potential side-effects. Japan’s ministry of health states: “Although we encourage all citizens to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, it is not compulsory or mandatory. Vaccination will be given only with the consent of the person to be vaccinated after the information provided.” Furthermore, they state: “Please get vaccinated of your own decision, understanding both the effectiveness in preventing infectious diseases and the risk of side effects. No vaccination will be given without consent.”

This is interesting. On December 14, TechnoFog noted the FDA gave approval to vaccine boosters amid 16 and 17-year-olds without consulting the medical advisory panel on safety and efficacy of the policy shift {SEE HERE}. As correctly noted at the time, “This is the FDA making a cost/benefit calculation without knowing the costs or benefits. It doesn’t know the real risks, because it didn’t study the potential for adverse reactions in kids aged 16 – 17 years,” yet, the FDA did it anyway. The issue is actually quite alarming considering there are multiple studies showing that specific age group, especially young males, were negatively impacted by vaccine created heart damage.

What is behind recent pessimistic appraisals of democracy’s future, from Hillary Clinton, Adam Schiff, Brian Williams and other elite intellectuals, media personalities, and politicians on the Left? Some are warning about its possible erosion in 2024. Others predict the democracy downturn as early 2022, with scary scenarios of “autocracy” and Trump “coups.” To answer that question, understand first what is not behind these shrill forecasts. They are not worried about 2 million foreign nationals crashing the border in a single year, without vaccinations during a pandemic. Yet it seems insurrectionary for a government simply to nullify its own immigration laws.
