Democrats, media pundits, and Hollywood stars threw tantrums on social media on Sunday after Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) told Fox News Sunday that he would not vote for President Joe Biden’s multi-trillion-dollar “Build Back Better” bill. Rolling Stone, for instance, published an article titled: “Joe Manchin Just Tore Out the Heart of Biden’s Agenda.” It went on to explain: “Build Back Better was the centerpiece of Biden’s domestic plans.” Now it is unlikely to pass the Senate.
The Spew hags should be a wonder to behold tomorrow morning. I can't wait for their meltdown.

Manchin is positioning himself to run for president as a "sane" RAT.

Respectfully disagree, # 2. There aren't nearly enough sane 'Rat's in the Dem primary base to make such a candidacy doable. I think Manchin just enjoys his gadfly role (with an eye on his seat in WVA).

Manchin probably wants at least one more six-year term in the Senate, and knows that he's toast if he goes along with San Fran Nan and AOC.

Manchin knows what everyone else knows that this plan is more like "Build Back Bankrupt", and he doesn't want to be part of it.

I am hoping people post some of these meltdown tweets elsewhere, because I am heartily amused by this response from the empty hearted Left. I am also wondering if Manchin and Sinema are hearing from voters nationwide as well, supporting their stand. I hope so. We know the media sure won't tell us about it if it is going on.

Agree #3 it would take a major upheaval to get the old democRAT party back, they have moved so far left that I believe any sane RAT now is probably an Independent. Manchin will probably give the Senate one more run and it will be tough. WV is moving right not left.

From what I hear Biden's disapproval rating in West Virginia is approaching 80%. It would be political self-poisoning for Manchin to be the deciding Yes vote on the Broke Back Better plan. The Dems are reduced to their core issues of unlimited abortions, illegal immigration, voter fraud, and COVID lockdowns.

#2, what Joe Manchin is likely realizing is the democrat party he once knew, is no longer present in today's democrat party which is left-wing liberal/progressive.
Neither he, or West Virginia fall into that far-left category.

I'm holding off making a decision until I hear the opinions of Whoopi and Cher. In case of a tie, I will factor in the feelings of Oprah and Barbara Streisand. It could be a short or long day. LOL

I think the months of harassment by the progs and their hack reporters may have made his mind up for him. When Xiden called him out by name in his speech on Thursday over childcare, it might have been the last straw for him.

America would not need to be built back, if the Democrats would stop ruining the country. Such evil deserves the worst fate. I hope they receive it.

Manchin is a poly who has heard from WV & refuses to be the vote that gives dem this monster to destroy US.
So all of you who have been insulting him(you know who you are)saying he'll cave can admit you're wrong.
Respect to the Senator.

How is this day different than any other day? Every one of the comments is the opposite to reality, same as any other day's of leftwingnut comments

A true West Virginian he. Joe Manchin might have just saved America financially. So great to see an elected official stand up to the muck in DC. He has a strong spine. And now the loose lips of the media will pounce and bark and not really understand, ever, what he is about. God bless you, Sir!

I don't think Joe is going to be bought. If he could he would be by now. Merry Christmas Joe, and thanks.

How DARE a majority of Senators (at least 51, Sinema is keeping quiet) block the will of a minority of Senators? Why that's just undemocratic!

It's pretty bad when the only victory the Republicans can get out of the Biden regime is from another Democrat. Thanks Joe Manchin...

He isn't the only Dem senator who thinks BBB is one large vote buying scheme, he is just the only one willing to go on the record. As we get closer to the next election, look for other Dems to say that they thought BBB was a bad idea.
