A statewide mask mandate for Pennsylvania schoolchildren was thrown out by the state Supreme Court on Friday, raising the prospect that at least some students may soon be allowed to attend classes without a face covering. The justices announced their decision to invalidate Democratic Governor Tom Wolf's statewide mandate for masks inside K-12 school buildings and child care facilities. They did not issue a written opinion that explains their reasoning. The justices upheld a lower-court decision

Dictator-wanna-be Tom Wolf is not going to be happy that his dictatorial control of the masses of peasants is being questioned!!!

Dribs and dabs of sanity breaking out....FINALLY. We have been under the thumbs of crazed, dictatorial lunatics for far too long.
Fortunately, here in KS, all the restrictions went away for ordinary people long ago. But I don't know about school kids, or what various company policies are. Seems like some places have all their employees all masked up, while the customers do what they want, which is about 95% no masks.
It's called FREEDOM and it is a relatively rare thing now, far rarer than when I was a kid or a young man.

Governor Wolf continues to require masking in preschool facilities. That is terrible, and here is why.
Child development, in language skills and interpersonal skills is disrupted mightily, when masks are required. We all learned, as children, more for some than others, how to interact with peers. And a particular weakness among black boys is the ability to sort out situations and peers who are being hostile versus non hostile. (Plenty of research to show this.)
So this masking of little children is insane. It will harm language development and social development.
Our little governor, the Wolf cub, is a damned fool.

Mini-dick-tater Tommy Wolf steps in it again. You could almost see the gleam in his beady little eyes every time he announced another COVID lockdown or mandate. This boy will not be missed when he gets the boot next election. I wonder if he misses his pal, Rachel?

This Supreme Court sees the writing on the wall. In 2 years there will be some Supreme Court judges up for retention. They are Democrats. We will make sure and motivate people in PA to vote NO. This year’s election opened their eyes when we took 3 judges out of four. In prior years the democrats would have won all 4 judges. We will take back our Supreme Court one judge at a time.

So if your kid's grade goes from an A to a C it's probably because the teacher can see his face.

Wolf is among the worst of governors about this garbage. Newsom, Cuomo and Whitmer should join him on Mt. Flushmore.

I'm sure governor wolf is down in his basement having a nervous breakdown...the money he took from soros will have to be paid back...follow the money folks...soros wants his thumb on the heads of Americans so HE can determine what's best for US...one small victory at a time will lead to a landslide in 2022....

Re #3, none. Pennsylvania supreme court is a state court, and their rulings have no effect on NY state law. This is strictly a Pennsylvania state legal situation, only applicable there.

It's a shame there is no mechanism to force judges to look at evidence and facts instead of their own biases and ideology.

The Governor requires masking in preschool facilities? Another thing that crosses the line to evil. He wants the little ones to be conditioned to be conditioned (question nothing - get in line and do it - question nothing). Typical bully. Picks on the kid who is smaller than him.
