The decision on who to honor as this week’s top knucklehead was a relatively easy one, for a change, with the only real competition being provided by our two honorable mentions. Fredo Cuomo’s suspension from CNN is so improbable, the choice was an easy one. But before we examine the justification for Fredo’s selection, let’s pause for a moment to consider how far the House of Cuomo has fallen in such a short period of time. A year ago today, now-disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Fredo’s brother, was still trying to figure out where to display the Emmy Award he’d been given

I'd say Fredo might be the runner-up knuckle head of the week, running neck an neck with babbling Nasty Pelosi. The lock on knucklehead of the week has to be the moron inhabiting the white house with his enabler, 'Dr.' Jill. It's really no contest!

He won’t be gone long. The left takes care of its own. In the unlikely event that the suspension becomes permanent he will pop up somewhere….a professorship at one of our Marxist universities probably teaching journalistic ethics.

Did you see that hug between Wonder Boy President in Waiting Pete Buttigieg and Back Off Little Man I’m Boss Lady of This House Kamala Harris? I’ve seen leprous porcupines get closer together for a hug. Harris and Buttigieg could have danced like that at a Catholic high school in 1957 and the chaperone would have said, “I’ll allow it. If anything, there’s room for two Holy Spirits in between.” H and B managed to hug while looking like they wished they were in two different time zones, just as their political fortunes are going in completely different directions:

Jussie Smollett and the two men who attacked him as part of an alleged hate crime hoax participated in a “dry run” of the incident to ensure that it would go according to plan, prosecutor Dan Webb alleged in his Monday evening opening remarks at the disgraced actor’s trial. “I want you to attack me, but when you hit me, I want you to kind of pull your punches a bit because I don’t want to get seriously hurt,” Smollett told brothers Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo, according to Webb. Webb cited alleged video evidence showing Smollett’s Mercedes circling the location of the faked attack

President Biden on Monday said he will unveil his plan Thursday to tackle the new omicron variant of COVID-19, saying the strategy will not include more lockdowns. Instead, Biden plans to rely on vaccinations to combat the latest version of the virus to pose a serious threat. Speaking during a meeting with CEOs of various companies to discuss the holiday shopping season and his administration’s work to address the supply chain crisis, Biden also said that Americans who are eligible for a booster shot have "no excuse" for not getting one.

In a shortened holiday week like this one, we might expect there would be fewer candidates for KOTW. Virtually all Americans spent Thursday with their families where presumably the only opportunities to display someone’s knuckleheadedness was to their loved ones in a private setting. Similarly, Friday is traditionally spent either relaxing, or perhaps kicking off the holiday shopping season. Therefore, we could assume that with two less days for public idiocy we would see less of it: but that assumption would be incorrect.

An English woman with spina bifida is suing her mother’s former doctor for millions of dollars in health care costs and damages claiming that she should never have been born. Evie Toombes, a 20-year-old equestrian show jumper from Lincolnshire, is suing her mother’s general practitioner, Dr. Philip Mitchell, for “wrongful conception” after he allegedly failed to advise her mother to take folic acid supplements before getting pregnant that she claims resulted in her birth defect, according to The Telegraph. Toombes was diagnosed with lipomyelomeningocele after her birth in November 2001, a neural tube defect to the spine.

Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren is calling for an investigation into the rapid increase in turkey prices as Americans face sticker shock at the grocery store. In a letter sent to Assistant Attorney General of the Antitrust Division Jonathan Kanter this week, Warren is asking the Department of Justice to investigate the poultry industry. She's blaming a rise in prices on "corporate greed," rather than on President Joe Biden's inflationary policies. "The price of turkey has increased by 24% over the past year, far outpacing other Thanksgiving foods,

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) pressed Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday over the impact of President Biden’s vaccine mandate on federal employees. What will happen if thousands of the 16,000-17,000 Border Patrol agents at the southern border are sidelined over their vaccination status, he wondered. “This ties back to your desire to give yourself an A for effort on dealing with workforce issues,” Lee said. “But what happens when you’ve got potentially thousands of those, a pretty large percentage, who might soon become ineligible to work based on their vaccination status?

Vice President Kamala Harris is being increasingly alienated in the White House as her approval ratings plummet — as the first female veep feels she’s not getting the same support President Biden gives to white male politicians, according to a detailed new report. Despite their public show of unity, Biden and his right-hand woman have a dysfunctional relationship that has reached an “exhausted stalemate,” CNN said based on interviews with nearly three dozen insiders. At a time when the president would usually be expected to promote his vice president as a future replacement in the White House, Biden has instead been sidelining Harris as a potential liability, the report said.

New York CNN said Saturday that anchor Chris Cuomo has been "terminated" by the network, "effective immediately." The announcement came after an outside law firm was retained to review information about exactly how Cuomo aided his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, when the then-governor was accused of sexual harassment. CNN said in a statement: "Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother's defense. We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately." "While in the process of that review, additional information has come to light,"

On Saturday, Chris Cuomo was fired from CNN “effective immediately.” The decision was unexpected by the many people who figured that the network that kept Jeffrey Toobin despite his… umm… scandal… would ultimately refuse to part ways with its apparent top anchor. But, apparently, there was more to this story. Cuomo was suspended after text messages released by the New York attorney general’s office showed Cuomo was actively assisting with his brother’s response to the allegations of sexual misconduct against him and exploiting his media connections to dig up dirt on Andrew’s accusers. But, according to the statement, during the review, “additional information

For nearly a year the Biden “presidency” -- whoever they are -- has subjected the United States to a destructive revolutionary agenda of unprecedented scope and virulence, all of it arising out of an irrational civilizational death wish for which there is no historical parallel. No more than a small minority of Americans knowingly voted for this.(snip) the only question worth asking is how, if at all, a counterrevolution of sanity can be mounted and succeed. Surprisingly, there is real hope. That hope lies in two stubborn centers of resistance that remain: nearly 50% of the American electorate, judging by the 2016 and 2020 elections; and the Republican Party.

Donald Trump's love affair with fast food carried on even when he was hospitalized with COVID-19 as the then-president ordered McDonald's to be brought to his room at Walter Reed Hospital, according to an upcoming book by his former chief of staff. In The Chief's Chief, Mark Meadows writes Trump didn't seemingly lose his sense of taste, as some COVID sufferers have reported, when he demanded takeout during his October 2020 hospital stay. 'They had to eat with face shields on at the doctor's orders, which didn't thrill any of them,' the book, Meadows writes in the book, which comes out Tuesday.
