Gov. Baker: QR code vaccine passport coming soon

Original Article

Gov. Charlie Baker expects a state-sanctioned COVID-19 vaccination passport program to be implemented in Massachusetts and several other states soon. During an appearance on GBH News' Boston Public Radio, Baker said a scannable quick response code, commonly known as a QR code, would show a person's vaccination status and be made available for others to scan and verify. "It's a universal standard and we've been working with a bunch of other states, there's probably 15 or 20 of them, to try to create a single QR code that can be used for all sorts of things where people may choose to require a vaccine," Baker said

I've got your passport right here, governors. Is there anything worse than a liberal Republican?

#10, our problem is that nobody who graduated from high school in the last 25 years knows anything about 1930s Germany. I had an otherwise-intelligent student in a college class (not a kid - around 30) who was surprised to learn the U.S. had dropped two atomic bombs on Japan in WWII. She had already passed college U.S. history.

I am scheduled ( and it may be canceled for a third time ) to travel to Egypt, Jordan and Israel in mid Dec. and they require the QR Code on the vaccine card. Still don't know if they will accept mine without it. Time will tell. They also demand the vaccines and booster shot. The States are behind the rest of the world.

Please guys...we need to stop calling leftists "liberal". They are the opposite of liberal. By calling these tyrants "liberal", we are helping to continue to manipulate the public into believing they are something they are NOT. Even if we know better, it a subtle but insidious way to mislead the majority if the population into believing these monsters support our founding principles. We MUST tell our media folks to also stop using that word to describe the controlling, authoritarian left.

Baker is not even a RINO he is a Democrat in sheep's clothing. Massachusetts, The People's Republic, was the birthplace of freedom from a tyrannical empire. That is long forgotten and no longer taught in our schools. Massachusetts is now a one party (Democrat) state that is consummately corrupt. It is the bluest of blue states and all of the lunacy of the American left arises in the halls of it's academic institutions, Harvard being the Politburo. So it comes as no surprise that Charlie the Democrat puppet should issue an edict such as this mark of the beast. America would be a much better place if all of the blue states would secede and form their own Orwellian state and leave the rest of us to enjoy the blessings of liberty.

The MTA has proposed spending $100 million over the next year on weekly COVID-19 tests for thousands of transit workers who refuse to get vaccinations. That works out to about $5,000 for each transit worker not now vaccinated. Metropolitan Transportation Authority data show about 20,000 of its employees—about 30% of the workforce—have not submitted proof that they have received at least one vaccine dose. The $100 million testing budget is enough to cover about $2,000 in hazard pay for the roughly 50,000 front line MTA workers who risked their health during the worst of the pandemic. It’s also enough to buy 37 subway cars

There are many unknowns about the omicron variant of the coronavirus, including whether it spreads faster than other strains or is more deadly. But here’s another puzzler: How to pronounce it. We’ve all heard the slogan “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people,” and human nature seems to bear out that bit of wisdom. The beginning of the book of Genesis recounts the story of Cain and Abel, two brothers who had a fatal falling out long before guns were invented. The only human remains found in the La Brea Tar Pits of Los Angeles belonged to a young woman who seems to have been a homicide victim 9000 years ago, again, long before guns were invented. Even after the invention of guns, people continue to kill each other with everything from common household implements to exotic poisons to complicated bombs.
