Fat Jerry Nadler Calls For Federal Review

Around 1:30 p.m. Eastern today, a jury in Kenosha, Wisconsin, returned the only verdict any responsible jury anywhere could have returned. It found 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse innocent of all charges stemming from his attempted murder in the streets of Kenosha on the night of August 25, 2020. This was no little task, and the fact that the jurors did their duty makes them heroes in my book. The media lied relentlessly about Rittenhouse and the facts (the outstanding exception being the work of the “Visual Investigations Team” of the New York Times,

Even though a state jury has spoken and even though murder/weapons charges are not federal crimes, there is precedent. The feds could pursue him for a violation of the Rittenhouse assailants' civil rights as was done in the 60/70's.

The threat might be real, but on what grounds? Evidence showed Rittenhouse only firing when attacked and there was no where for him to run, or he was knocked violently to the ground. The amazing thing is that he only fired when directly, physically attacked, and ONLY hit the person attacking him. No other rioters were wounded or killed. Some nincompoop said he had gone to Kenosha to shoot anyone he could. Well, that statement and many like it are stupid beyond stupidity. no words. If you watched the trial, it's hard to believe any fair-minded and rational person could have come to any other conclusion than Not Guilty. Nevertheless, the jurors were under extreme pressure, they could have just cried Can't Decide and hand over a hung jury. But they didn't. They worked it our, nothing hasty, shoddy or fear-driven... just the facts and the logical, obvious conclusion. I salute the jurors for doing the right thing regardless of the threats. All these lefty blowhards are providing more evidence of their shallow brains, their dangerous silliness, their unfitness for being pundits or so-called solons in government. How truly pitiful it is to be ruled over by such Lilliputian-brained dolts and the shameful race-baiters who ought to move out of this country they hate so much, immediately.

George Bush I sicced the DOJ on the cops in the aftermath of the not guilty verdict in the Rodney King affair and secured a couple of convictions. As fractured as the logic in this case may be I wouldn't put it past the increasingly corrupt federal law enforcement apparatus as embodied by the DOJ to pursue similar action. They have thousands of lawyers and billions of dollars at their disposal.

A few weeks ago, John covered a story about former New York Times reporter Nellie Bowles quitting her job at the Gray Lady and writing a newsletter for Bari Weiss’ Substack. That was, as John put it, sort of an inside baseball report for those who closely follow the political media industry, or at least it seemed so at first glance. In her newsletter, Bowles described the shifting attitude in the New York Times newsroom and how she “became suspect” at the paper when she failed to “cheer on” or at least ignore a leftward power shift in both the country and American newsrooms. What is Biden angry about? That the jury, which saw the evidence, didn’t agree with his view of the case, not having seen the evidence? These are highly irresponsible words from the President of the United States, particularly in a climate where mobs have threatened reprisals against the jurors.
