As RedState reported, the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial sent shockwaves through the country today. In the end, the teenager was found not guilty on all counts, having acted in self-defense when he killed two men and injured a third during the Kenosha riots. Of course, the hysterical responses came in hot and heavy, with many on the left having an absolute meltdown. They truly wanted to see an innocent man thrown in prison for life in order to feed their racial narrative, which ironically doesn’t even apply to this case given it involved a white teenager shooting three white men that were attacking him. A few weeks ago, John covered a story about former New York Times reporter Nellie Bowles quitting her job at the Gray Lady and writing a newsletter for Bari Weiss’ Substack. That was, as John put it, sort of an inside baseball report for those who closely follow the political media industry, or at least it seemed so at first glance. In her newsletter, Bowles described the shifting attitude in the New York Times newsroom and how she “became suspect” at the paper when she failed to “cheer on” or at least ignore a leftward power shift in both the country and American newsrooms.

Harris is clearly a terrible candidate, something she showed during the 2020 presidential primary, but she’s also the heir apparent until Democrats forcibly remove her from that position.

According to the latest available data from Johns Hopkins University, the U.S. has reached at least 770,691 COVID-19 deaths over the full course fo the pandemic.
Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicate that the total number of deaths involving COVID-19 in 2020 was 385,343.
That means that at least 385,348 COVID-19 deaths — 15 more than the 2020 total —have so far been recorded in 2021, and that number will only rise in the days and weeks to come.
