The corrupt liberal media came for me,
just like they came for Kyle Rittenhouse,
and if he decides to sue I say go for
it and hold the media accountable

The parallels between me and Kyle Rittenhouse are impossible not to draw.Kyle was 17-years-old when he became a household name after that terrible tragedy in Kenosha.I was 16-years-old when I was catapulted into the national conversation by video of an encounter with a Native American activist on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.Kyle was almost immediately labelled a 'white supremacist' and a 'domestic terrorist'. To many, my red MAGA hat clearly meant that I was a racist.

So, is it just me or does “me and Kyle Rittenhouse” drive you crazy?

#1, no schools teach grammar, or have for decades now. The language is in free fall, heading towards what used be humor on "The Beverly Hillbillies"......as being the norm of conversations and writing.
"Nouning" of verbs is a personal pet peeve. Invite is a verb, the associated noun is invitation, but huge swaths of people use "invite" as a noun now. Ask is a verb, and the associated noun is request, but somehow the abuse of this verb as a noun has become recently fashionable. There are more.
Part of the problem is that probably 3/4 of people under 50 couldn't define 'noun' or 'verb' successfully if thre was a $100 prize for getting both correct. Diagram a sentence? LOL!

#1, no. I honestly didn't notice it until you brought it up. Defamation is horrible.
I nearly had my reputation ruined several years ago because people who should have known better participated in a smear campaign against me. I was blocked from setting the record straight. It was very painful.
May God's most perfect justice somehow be carried out through the jury. We must not trust in "kings and princes," however, as God has instructed us in his Word.

Aside from the somewhat minor grammatic error, the point that Mr. Sandman makes is an excellent one.
I hope that Mr. Rittenhouse can legally extract a few hundred millions from the Enemedia's deep pockets as successfully as Mr. Sandman did. The Enemedia deserve every kick in the teeth that they get.

Hey #2 ...Retired Teacher/Counselor here.
For years I would ask anyone this question.
I still ask it today.
What are the 8 parts of speech?
Without my prompting—- nobody gets all 8.
Can you?
No googling!
As for a lawsuit, I totally concur
$ue the schiff out of every slanderer from the fake news liars all the way to FJB
NOT GUILTY!

What really drives me crazy is the hypercritical smugness of posters who completely miss the point because they’re too busy pointing out ‘grammatical errors’. No wonder it was child’s play when the liberals took over society.

Nicholas Sandman was the wrong person for the media to libel. At age 16, he had more aplomb than most news commentators and pundits. He handled the situation with integrity and it is easy to keep your story straight when you are telling the truth. And he and his parents hired the right lawyers. May Kyle Rittenhouse get justice and the chance to restore his life and reputation.

Hold the media jackals' feet to the fire, bleed them dry, sue their pants off and every other figure of speech that implies kicking their collective arses.

Hypercritical smugness?
This is why we have a party problem
The rat party sticks together
So called conservatives here criticize
EACH OTHER for opinions you don’t like?
What hypocrisy!

Re#6, I got seven off of the top of my head......finally gave up. Interjection was the one I forgot.
I have no doubt that vety few Americans will get it, but you'll get better results asking people who have studied English as a foreign language.
I knocked a lot of rust off of my English grammar helping Russian and Ukrainian friends kill off the last 1% of their English language errors. Explaining a topic is excellent for reinforcing it in your own mind.🙂

I cannot help but think that just as some grown-ups on this thread get exasperated by the grammar skills of this young person, that this brave, young man would be equally exasperated that so many adults chose not to comment on the excellent points he makes. I have no doubt that he struggled writing this - not because he was worried about being grammatically correct; but because in writing this, he had to relive many of the emotions that he sees Kyle going through now. This young, Christian man is a model for all of us - putting 2 Corinthians Chapter One to practice: God may allow us to go through hardship so that we might help others get through their hardships.

No, #1, it doesn't bother me at all. He is a young man, likely still honing his writing skills.
His gracious offer to Kyle at the end of the article is to be commended! He was raised well!

I'm not at all bothered by the grammar and see that as a sign that he genuinely wrote the piece. If I was his proofreader I would have asked him if this is what he really want's to say:
" However, if Kyle is innocent it would create an easier road to winning."
Or would "if Kyle is found not guilty" better reflect his intended meaning.
And any luck at all I'd also as a lower priority clean up the grammar.
