How's George Soros feeling these days? Seems his fair-haired boy, San Francisco's radical left-wing district attorney, Chesa Boudin, who's pretty much letting every thug in the city escape prosecution as San Francisco goes to hell, has drawn enough signatures to ensure his placement on a recall ballot come June 7, 2022 -- and then some. According to the San Francisco Chronicle: San Francisco voters will officially weigh in next year on whether District Attorney Chesa Boudin should stay in office, following confirmation from the Department of Elections Tuesday that campaign organizers collected enough valid signatures to qualify for the ballot. The recall will be part of the the June 7, 2022, statewide primary election.

Comments:

San Francisco is a dump where more than half the locals now want to flee.

Last week proved that in Virginia, awakened citizens have rejected the "wokeness" of the radical left. I hope this is the "drivers, start your engines" encouragement for other states. Our wise old white guy founders provided a masterful document to grow and maintain our great republic, and hopefully there will be energetic activity at the state and local areas to take back our country from these fascists.

how come whenever we see these communist and communist-like political figures in the news, George Soros' name is directly connected to their campaign, as a major donor? there has to be a campaign violation in there somewhere to connect Soros and the communist party as provocateurs and dissemblers of our election process. Soros has run rampant for far too long and must be stopped.

Very possible this guy could lose, due to the fact he is stepping on the toes of the elites by allowing crime to run rampant and get close to their elitist neighborhoods. You don't allow crime to run amok without consequences, and one of them is crooks will go where the goodies are. Don't come much better than an elitist neighborhood.

All of this stuff sounds wonderful and dreamy in the college faculty lounge, in guarded fenced in high-class estates and subdivisions, and in far suburban outreaches. But when you can't walk down the street without being robbed or shot, your business is taken over by thieves and bums, and you come home to see the place cleaned out and the cops can't do anything because the local pols turn the other way, well, that's when people say no way. Perfect examples: The black folks of Minneapolis, sick of seeing their neighborhoods and jobs burn down, vote down the Mpls "public safety" (no police initiative). The rich white liberals of Austin vote down a reasonable proposal to keep from gutting the police force.

It's interesting that this Commie DA has declined to prosecute "quality of life" crimes in SF, and the result: decreasing quality of life for its law-biding citizens. But, then again, they VOTED this POS into office.

We should probably hold back on our celebrations, since the whackjobs of this city could easily elect a POC who is even more radical than Boudin. San Franciscans are not known for moderating their controversial positions when criticized.

So what other catastrophes does Joe Biden have in store for us, now that he's shut down the Keystone XL pipeline, halted drilling on federal lands, opened the border, brought back Jimmy Carter-style inflation, and abandoned Afghanistan in shambles? Looks like a good bet is even higher energy prices. Get a load of what he's planning now: The Biden Administration is considering shutting down a Michigan oil pipeline in another push to get the U.S, away from fossil fuels, despite warnings from Republican lawmakers who believe the move would result in fuel price shocks throughout the Midwest.

Following a series of contradictory statements around $450,000 taxpayer payoffs to illegals separated at the border, Joe Biden came out in a finger-pointing rage to let a reporter know that these lawbreakers "deserve compensation." According to the RealClearPolitics transcription: "Let's get it straight. You said everybody coming across the border gets $450,000. The number I was referring to." "Now here’s the thing," Biden said. "If, in fact, because of the outrageous behavior of the last administration, you were coming across the border, whether it was legal or illegal, and you lost your child. You lost your child, [your child] is gone, you deserve some kind of compensation! No matter what the circumstances."

The story starts with our president meeting the pope at the Vatican, presumably to discuss Jesus's thoughts about climate change and whether one can claim to be a good Catholic while facilitating the dismemberment of unborn babies. Three things stood out about the meeting. One is that the Vatican canned the traditional live footage of the event, instead providing only still shots and small snippets of conversation between the two pale, frail old men.

Normally, when a political campaign screws up so egregiously there's no denying they've gotten caught, the best thing to do is apologize to voters and to one's wronged opponent, and then proceed to move along. How can a state that did so well during the first part of the pandemic — even garnering national recognition — be doing so much worse now? "But, there are clearly factors that have come together to create the situation that we're in now." Slowing the spread is critical right now to prevent Vermont's hospitals from being overwhelmed with people sick with the virus, Levine said.
