A governor of President Joe Biden's own party is standing up to his sweeping vaccine mandate, claiming it's 'too late' in the pandemic for broad federal action even as the pandemic's effects continue to roil the US economy. Kansas Democrat Governor Laura Kelly, who is up for re-election in 2022, released a statement on Saturday announcing that her state is rejecting Biden's vaccine order for private businesses that employ more than 100 people.(Snip)Kelly said states at this point in the pandemic have 'already developed systems' to fight coronavirus' effects on health and the economy, largely without the federal government's help. President Joe Biden let out a long, loud **** while speaking with the Duchess of Cornwall at the COP26 summit. Camilla Parker Bowles “hasn’t stopped talking about” the 78-year-old’s “long ****,” it has been reported. The pair were making small talk at the global climate change gathering in Scotland last week when the president broke wind, according to an informed source that spoke to The Mail on Sunday. “It was long and loud and impossible to ignore,” the source told the outlet. “Camilla hasn’t stopped talking about it.”(Snip) Parker Bowles, who has been married to Prince Charles since 2005, was taken aback by the flatulence. You’re gonna need more dough for that slice.
The price of pizza is soaring in the Big Apple thanks to a dyspeptic recipe of inflationary food costs, a global supply-chain crisis and national labor shortage.(Snip)“Inflation is affecting every single ingredient, every single item we use. Flour, cheese, tomatoes, gloves, paper goods, paper plates, napkins. Everything. Labor is definitely up, as well,” Oren Halali, the 2 Bros. Pizza co-founder, told The Post.(Snip)Lenny Giordano, owner of Mona Lisa Pizzeria in Annadale on Staten Island, agreed. “I can list about 200 items that I’m buying for my store every week and every one of them went up

Russian social media disinformation campaigns and the increasingly hostile political battles they’ve fueled across America represent a “true constitutional threat” to the nation, contributing to COVID-19 vaccine skepticism and other serious issues in the military and beyond, a top Air Force general told The Washington Times this week.
In an exclusive interview, Lt. Gen. S. Clinton Hinote, the Air Force‘s deputy chief of staff for strategy, integration and requirements, warned that the internal divisions on display in America could fundamentally weaken the country and chip away at American moral leadership around the world. He spoke as the Pentagon was trying to formulate guidelines to define and weed out

The Empire State is set to reap upwards of $170 billion after the House of Representatives passed a $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill late Friday night. The Senate passed the bipartisan bill back in August, but the legislation had been stalled for months in the lower chamber as progressive and moderate Democrats haggled over the details.(Snip)The cash will also mean faster ferries, completing a high-occupancy vehicles (HOV) lane on the Staten Island Expressway, and upgrading the city sewer system to better handle flooding and more. Like its Senate counterpart, the bill was bipartisan, with 13 Republicans—including New York Reps. John Katko, Tom Reed, Nicole Malliotakis

Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe had his New York home raided by FBI agents Saturday, just a day after reporters for the conservative activist group were also searched over the stolen diaries of President Joe Biden's daughter Ashley. Authorities raided O'Keefe's Westchester County residence on Fenimore Road in Mamaroneck just a day after O'Keefe himself acknowledged Project Veritas was under investigation. Project Veritas did not publish the diary, as O'Keefe said in a video released Friday that the group could not confirm the authenticity of the diary, its belonging to Ashley Biden or that the contents of the diary were truthful.(Snip)

California Governor Gavin Newsom has disappeared from public view for 10 days and abruptly canceled plans to attend the COP26 climate summit in Scotland over unexplained 'family obligations.' Newsom was last seen in public on October 27, receiving a COVID-19 booster shot in Oakland. He said it was painless and then flexed in celebration, urging others to get boosters as well. Two days later, his office issued a statement citing unspecified family obligations, abruptly cancelling his plans to attend the global climate conference, a huge gathering of international leaders on a subject that is among his highest priorities. The statement claimed that Newsom would attend the summit virtually, though

The lucrative $50,000-per-year journalist tax break that Democrats have tucked within President Biden’s multitrillion-dollar social welfare bill is estimated to cost taxpayers more than $1.6 billion over the next decade. A new analysis of the legislation by the Joint Committee on Taxation, a special congressional panel made up of 10 senior lawmakers from both chambers of Congress, found that taxpayers would be on the hook for more than $1.6 billion if the tax credit becomes law. The credit would allow “local news” outlets to receive a quarterly tax credit, “equal to 50%” of a journalist’s wages up to a cap of $12,500-per-quarter.

Avondale, Ariz.—NASCAR denounced its association with the “Let's go, Brandon” political cry being used across the country as an insult directed at President Joe Biden. Steve Phelps, NASCAR's president, said Friday the top motorsports series in the United States does not want to be associated with politics “on the left or the right.”
Phelps also said NASCAR will pursue action against any illegal use of its trademarks on merchandise boasting the slogan. Retired baseball star Lenny Dykstra posted a photo on Twitter this week of a man eating breakfast at a New Jersey hotel wearing a black “Let's go, Brandon” shirt alongside NASCAR's trademarked color bars.

The protection that fully vaccinated Americans have against COVID-19 infection severely drops over time, a new study suggests. A team led by the Public Health Institute in Oakland, California, found that the overall effectiveness of the three Covid vaccines available in the U.S fell from 87 percent in March to 48 percent by September. Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients are especially at risk with just 13 percent efficacy against contracting the virus.(Snip)Researchers, who published their findings on Thursday in the journal Science, gathered data from the Veterans Health Administration from February to October 2021.
In total, nearly 800,000 veterans' data was included in the massive study.

The former commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) believes the COVID-19 pandemic could end by the beginning of next year. In an appearance on CNBC's Squawk Box on Friday, Dr Scott Gottlieb said America is about to gain new tools to fight the disease in the form of antiviral pills from Pfizer Inc and Merck & Co. Gottlieb said recent Covid vaccine mandates implemented by President Joe Biden in workplaces may not even be necessary by the time they go into effect. Starting January 4, the mandate requires all companies with at least 100 employees to test weekly those who aren't fully vaccinated.
