The protection that fully vaccinated Americans have against COVID-19 infection severely drops over time, a new study suggests. A team led by the Public Health Institute in Oakland, California, found that the overall effectiveness of the three Covid vaccines available in the U.S fell from 87 percent in March to 48 percent by September. Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients are especially at risk with just 13 percent efficacy against contracting the virus.(Snip)Researchers, who published their findings on Thursday in the journal Science, gathered data from the Veterans Health Administration from February to October 2021. In total, nearly 800,000 veterans' data was included in the massive study.

Comments:

Hilarious. Still, a permanently compromised immune system and a few months of false protection from the Covid bogie man is a very small price to pay in exchange for tens of billions of dollars for Pfizer. Savvy Americans will dutifully proceed to the nearest pharmacy for another booster to keep the money flowing and the fear at bay, and maybe to avoid being fired from their jobs.

The truth is coming out in dribbles. We will never be told the whole truth, not as long as the Democrats want power over us and the elfin Fauci is involved. We’ve been royally played. We’re being forced to take an experimental drug or face loss of job. Pelosi and her fellow elites don’t wear masks unless they’re going to be photographed. And the phrase “follow the science” does not apply here. Not the way Fauci and company apply it. Tomorrow will bring more new revelations about the mRNA “vaccine”. And since Biden is in China’s pocket, they will never be held accountable or tell the truth about what happened in Wuhan.

Actually, Covid is survivable for 98% of the people so those shots aren't doing a thing. The Delta variant is weaker and survivable by 99%. Just ask India.

If no one is dying, what is the problem? I am actually afraid that the new normal will be masks and isolation to keep down the numbers of colds and the flu. Enough, already! If you want to wear a mask, do so. Same with vaccine. Protect yourself or not, just like with the flu. Just leave the rest of us alone to live our lives.

I think the claim in the article that survivability of only 80% in the 65 or older group needs to be fact checked. I thought it was greater than 98% for that group.

The lucrative $50,000-per-year journalist tax break that Democrats have tucked within President Biden’s multitrillion-dollar social welfare bill is estimated to cost taxpayers more than $1.6 billion over the next decade. A new analysis of the legislation by the Joint Committee on Taxation, a special congressional panel made up of 10 senior lawmakers from both chambers of Congress, found that taxpayers would be on the hook for more than $1.6 billion if the tax credit becomes law. The credit would allow “local news” outlets to receive a quarterly tax credit, “equal to 50%” of a journalist’s wages up to a cap of $12,500-per-quarter.
