The House passed the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill with a vote of 228 to 206, sending one of two key pieces of President Joe Biden's agenda to his desk just before midnight Friday. The vote came after a day of haggling between progressive and moderate Democrats, with a deal struck late Friday night, with moderates agreeing to pass Biden's Build Back Better social spending bill no later than November 15. Thirteen Republicans voted with the Democrats to pass the infrastructure bill, which passed the Senate August, while six Democrats voted against it. When the bill crossed the line of 218 - which signified passage - applause broke out

Why pay taxes. Just print the worthless $$$ you need. The middle class is so screwed. Inflation to 15%. Gasoline here went from $2.83 on 7/29 to $3.29 today.

Well as near as I can tell, #2, we pay taxes so that we can enrich diseased illegal invaders on our border, and buy military hardware for the Taliban.
Plus 10% for the Big Dummy, of course.

I smell a RED wave never seen before. The democrats knows it's dead in the senate. Let's make sure that they are gone in the 2022 election. Get your election shoes on and campaign for the conservative running for office. Bang on doors, make phone calls, learn to be a poll watcher, stand guard at every ballot box, check under every table where they count ballots, etc. Don't rely on Ronna McDaniel (RNC Chair) she is totally useless.

Remember a short time ago, when Obama was quoted as saying, "There never was any shovel-ready jobs." And he was laughing as he said it.
I am surprised about Chris Smith of New Jersey. I thought he was one of the good guys; though it could be a different Smith that I was thinking about.

This is the original infrastructure bill. NOT the democrat wet dream bill. If you will recall, Trump wanted a 2 trillion infrastructure bill, but the democrats wouldn't negotiate or pass anything that would give him a win. This bill actually does address real infrastructure plus democrat wish list items.
The "Build Back Better" so called human infrastructure bill is the one that's going nowhere. That's the bill that includes everything that they couldn't get into the original bill. Nancy "may" get it passed in the house, but its doubtful it will pass in the senate.

This bill will not fix one pothole or build one bridge. It will promote a wretched Marxist agenda, one that will do the opposite of what is good for America. They will use our own tax dollars to torment us and destroy the USA.
Remember the names of the 13 Republicans. They are obviously controlled/blackmailed. God has reserved a special place in hell for these miscreants.

#16 Maybe math isn’t your thing… Team Biden/Pelosi won by 228 to 206, 228-13=215 votes for Team Team Biden/Pelosi. 206+13=219. You see, 219 is BIGGER than 215.

I say KUDOS to Biden and the Communists. KUDOS again. This bill ONLY passed because of the Republicans. Remember a few months back the 19 Senate Republicans voted to advance the bill and send it back to the House? Thank each and every one of them. Oh yes, and Kevin McCarthy, that brilliant Republican strategist who keeps saying "but Pelosi only has 3 votes....." Yeah that Republican "leader", well the incompetent fop couldn't keep 13 Republicans from signing on to this POS....13!!!!!! 13 mealy mouth puss bags, take a win on Tuesday and wipe their you know whats with it. They not only betray every single American taxpayer, they give Brandon and the witch Pelosi a WIN they desperately, desperately needed. Every Communist deflated by Tuesday's results is now back on top, polishing their little red stars. And every American like myself, happy, finally for something good that happened in this last year, is now totally deflated again and looking down the abyss of a crumbling Republic. And if I hear one more time, WAIT until 2022, I really am going to wretch. A Republican win in 2022 aint' gonna do nothin'. Yeah Kevin, Mitch, Miss Lindsey way to go.
No, ladies and gentlemen, don't blame the Communists. Blame the Republicans. This bill would be in ashes had Mitch McConnel, Miss Lindsey, Kevin McCarthy and their merry band of Communist sympathizers rejected this abomination from day one.

BTW, is this Kinzinger giving us the middle finger before he retires to run for president? And he thinks he has a chance?
At least this time my own rep Nancy Mace didn’t once again stab us in the back.
I’m so glad that I retired and the only taxes I will have to pay are on my measly social security. Which means that I will probably not have to pay taxes at all.

All I smell, #6, is the stench of Red Diaper babies hiding in the ranks of the GOP. They couldn't even take courage from the results of Tuesday, which was a clear repudiation of Xiden's spending wishes. Instead, they rescued that putz and the damn communists, AGAIN.
Anyone that votes for these gutless traitors is wasting their time and energy. When the chips are down, the GOP folds faster than Superman on laundry day.

The bill would never have passed without Republican help.
We do not have a two party system of government. Our representative Republic is a sham. They only represent their own interests, and the interests of their big money cronies. They aren't looking out for the country or its its citizens. The fix has always been in. Five trillion in spending if everything gets passed, and in all likelihood, it will. What will we have to show for it? NOTHING! Watch the dollar get devalued further, and inflation continue to grow. Watch your savings shrink. Save your money people! You will need every penny. Meanwhile the people in government and those with government connections will make out like bandits.

Infrastructure ! How many people believe the Dems mean roads. Brides etc, No. The infrastructure bill is to change the infrastructure of our government. It’s payouts to change the fbi. Doj Supreme Court. Judges. Lawyers politicians. Policy’s. These bills have nothing to do with anything else then changing this whole country. Gas taxes take care of roads etc.

This had already passed the Senate. Pelosi's problem was the "progressives" who were refusing to support it without the BBBoondoggle bill, for which she didn't have the votes. The deal is that the Democrats who are hesitant on the spending bill want a CBO estimate of the actual cost. Assuming it gets passed, we'll see if Manchin folds. If he does, I think Sinema will, too.

LOL!! The UNIPARTY doesn't exist, you see. This is "bi-partisan". Too much money on the table. After PDT signed stimulus and other such bills to "spread it around", $1.5 TRILLION seems like chump change. Why the anger? One could see this coming a mile away. When will American Patriots wake up and realize that democrats and republicans are 2 sides of the same coin?
America is ruled by an small elite class.
They created the game. You have to be one of them in order to hold office. They create the rules. They tax American Patriots to death, not for all their grandiose oratations of helping legal citizens, but to enrich themselves and their families and friends.
The rules of the game change to keep the narrative going. Neither side has the republic's best interest at heart, nor her citizens.
It is a constant game of good cop, bad cop. Think about history. Look at the endless wars. Look how wealthy public servants are.
Think long and hard....
REVOLUTION ANYONE?

Only about 20% of the $1.2 trillion bipartisan "infrastructure" bill goes to infrastructure as the the average citizen knows it. The bulk of it goes to the Repressive's green new deal agenda wish list items. The fact that it was passed in the dead of night doesn't make it any less disgusting. This is more than enough irresponsible, and wasteful spending.
The misnamed "Build Back Better" bill is far more outrageous than the "infrastructure" bill. It should be go down to defeat.

I get the impression many folks posting here need to read comment #11. This bill that was just passed has its problems, and I would not have voted for it, but this is not the Build Back Better bill that is currently sinking in stormy seas. I agree that several--if not all--of the Republicans who voted for this are questionable. The good news here is that The Squad was soundly defeated by the non-communist liberals in the House.

Hidden in this garbage is the take over of local zoning laws by the federal government with the object of destroying what the social engineers hate.......... predominately white middle class neighborhoods that are zoned for single family houses. If your town takes federal money, they take control of your zoning laws.

Wait...I forgot. #20 reminded me that Democrats have been intentionally infiltrating the GOP. Landmark Communications is one group that has been grooming Democrats to pretend to be conservative and run for Republican seats. Raffenspberger is one of their flunkies. We need to make sure WTP do better vetting of all Republican candidates. Ronna McDaniel is not on our side. I think she's working for the Dems in some way.
