McAuliffe's Defeat Shows Abortion Extremism
Doesn't Win

I woke up Wednesday morning so grateful that my state, Virginia, had voted out abortion extremism. Abortion activists were supposed to sweep Terry McAuliffe back to the governor's mansion. McAuliffe spent millions of dollars on ads blasting Glenn Youngkin for being pro-life and brought in outside speakers, including former President Obama, to campaign on the issue of abortion. Instead of keeping Virginia blue, these efforts may have propelled Youngkin to victory.

Youngkin won a never before seen percentage of Hispanics who just happen to be Catholic and pro-life. If the demonrats had a clue they would be building the border wall themselves.

I don't think the abortion debate played an outsized role in VA. I think the bigger issue was McAuliffe trying to asset that the state has more to say about kids than parents do, and the fact that he is approx. as unlikeable as Kamala Harris.

“Protecting the most vulnerable is a winning issue, it should be a bipartisan issue, and Youngkin's success paves the way for a wave of pro-life candidates in 2022 to win in purple and blue states by calling out the extreme pro-abortion views of their opponents.” Praise The Almighty! MAGA

CDC Admits Crushing Rights of Naturally

You would assume that if the CDC was going to crush the civil and individual rights of those with natural immunity by having them expelled from school, fired from their jobs, separated from the military, and worse, the CDC would have proof of at least one instance of an unvaccinated, naturally immune individual transmitting the COVID-19 virus to another individual. If you thought this, you would be wrong. My firm, on behalf of ICAN, asked the CDC for precisely this proof (see below). ICAN wanted to see proof of any instance in which someone who previously had COVID-19 became reinfected with and transmitted the virus to someone else.

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf admitted this week he made a mistake when he allowed his wife to drop off his mail-in ballot ahead of Tuesday’s municipal elections. The comments came during an interview with KDKA radio in Pittsburgh. A Wolf spokesperson told The Associated Press “it was an honest mistake.” State law requires voters return their own mail-in ballots to a county election office or drop box. Written permission must be given to return someone else’s ballot.

One might imagine that Democrats could reflect dispassionately on the results of yesterday’s elections, draw appropriate lessons from them, and emerge as more formidable competitors going forward. You might imagine that, but it won’t happen. Democrats have no capacity for such engagement with reality. Thus, they tell us that Glenn Youngkin’s victory was a triumph of white supremacy.
The Obsolete Science Behind Roe v. Wade 9 replies

The Supreme Court will soon reconsider the decision in Roe v. Wade (1973), which made abortion legal in America through all nine months of pregnancy. At that “point in the development of man’s knowledge,” as Justice Harry Blackmun put it in Roe, there was simply no consensus about when life begins. In other words, the fetus could not be said with any certainty to be alive and therefore wasn’t worthy of legal protection. As a diagnostic radiologist—whose youngest patients are fetuses, who are very much alive—I submitted a friend-of-the-court brief in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization urging the justices to rethink Roe, a case premised on a claim about science.

Going to a foreign country and mocking the locals in their own accent is no way to make friends or project U.S. influence abroad.
