White employees of AT&T have been told to read an article saying that they are racist, are told to confess to their 'white privilege' and acknowledge 'systemic racism,' and must engage with set texts or else they will be penalized in their performance reviews.(Snip)Most employees are not forced to engage with the Listen Understand Act program, but managers at AT&T are now assessed annually on diversity issues—with mandatory participation in programs such as discussion groups, book clubs, mentorship programs, and race reeducation exercises, according to Rufo's source. Mr. Stankey, as a white man you are part of the problem. The obvious remedy is for you to resign and turn over the stewardship of ATT to a POC. Otherwise, you are nothing more than another hypocrite.

AT and T signed a consent agreement back in the 1970s, and I know a woman who called herself Mary, but began using the name Lupita (she was mexican, married to a man named Smith, an MD,) and advanced through the ranks at AT and T quite well. She was remarkably brght, but will never know for sure how she advanced.

Does AT&T see their business model improving by doing this? Do they see higher profits? I'm not sure calling more than half your customers racists is a sure fire way to improve your rating among your customers let alone your employees. This bit of info was probably not meant to leave AT&T and get out into the general public.

Things were not getting done and the staff assigned to my job sites changed ........for the worse. I soon found out about a new program called BEN, black employees network. The upper manager I worked with disappeared and a new black woman came on site. Smart educated and very racist. Everything sent to her was double checked by someone else and caused a kerfuffle .

AT&T is a crooked company. Personally, they would added billing charges over and over again, even when they were part of the services in CA. Also, AT&T gave "pencil neck" Adam Shiffy phone information of Republicans (Rudy Giuliani, Devan Nunes, others) during the impeachment (who knows which one) when it was an invasion of personal information. The republicans should have sued them for that. AT&T management are leftist and are evil and dangerous to this Country. They make their money off the backs of hard working middle class Americans.
