The NYPD is doing everything in its power to convince its members to receive life-saving COVID vaccine shots as the city’s mandate deadline looms—a cutoff that could send a quarter of the police force home without pay. “We have to prepare as if this is going to go into effect Friday evening and that’s exactly what we’re going to do,” Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said on NY1 Tuesday. “We have vaccines available throughout the city for our members.” Shea said that 72% of the NYPD has gotten at least one vaccination shot.(Snip)Opposition to Mayor de Blasio’s mandate led to a massive protest in lower Manhattan Monday

Buy a lottery ticket on death or serious illness or lose your job? That would be easy for me, but each person will have to choose for themselves. This is not a vaccine, and it is not proven safe, in fact, has proven to be dangerous, killing more than 17,000 people. Far, far better odds on "winning" a death sentence than buying a Power Ball ticket.

Close the borders, biden, then I might take you seriously about the covid shot. It's not a vaccine and it can be deadly to many people. I've had covid and am here to write this blurb. You're such a hypocrite, biden. You send covid infected illegals all over USA yet pass all these ignorant mandates for Americans to get the shot and if they don't abide by them, they'll lose their livelihoods.

Donald Trump Jr. is taking aim at a longtime family foe—he’s hawking a t-shirt that uses a tragic movie-set shooting to mock Alec Baldwin, who famously skewered his father on “Saturday Night Live.” A tee declaring “Guns Don’t Kill People, Alec Baldwin Kills People” is selling for $27.99 on a merchandise site linked to the former president’s namesake son. The reference is to the Thursday slaying of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was hit by discharge from a prop gun while working on the Baldwin film “Rust.” Baldwin, the film’s star, was handling the weapon from which the fatal shot was fired. The movie’s director was injured as well.

At least 20 people were arrested during the protest, a police source said. Days after the mayor announced that all government employees except for jail staff will need to receive a vaccine shot by Friday or be placed on unpaid leave, about 5,000 incensed demonstrators marched over the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan. Many carried American flags, chanting, “[Expletive] de Blasio” and “We will not comply!” Some protesters wore NYPD and FDNY shirts, and several hoisted Gadsden “Don’t Tread on Me” flags, while others took to the extreme of wearing yellow stars
