Earlier this month, Jennifer Kappes scheduled her COVID-19 booster at the Walgreens at Meridian and 16th Street. When the geriatric care manager arrived for her appointment, she found the store open, but the pharmacy closed. A sign said the pharmacy had not been open for the past two days, but it should be open at 9 a.m. that day. With 9 a.m. long since past, Kappes gave up and left, eventually going to a Carmel pharmacy for her booster. “I was in shock,” said the Butler-Tarkington resident. “You hear about restaurants and stores and everything else being short-staffed, but it
Keep believing that 70% of Americans are actually vaxxed, as the government tells us. Maybe Walgreens (and CVS) can hire some Haitians to give the shots instead.

Go to a locally owned pharmacy instead of a chain pharmacy.

The Walgreen's I use in my western Colorado town has the same problem. While the pharmacy is open, its hours were shortened considerably. To make matters worse, our Walgreen's only allows prescription pickup at their drive up window. And cars in line are wrapped clear around the building. Waiting 45 minutes to an hour until you actually get to the window is common. Almost like going to Chick Fil A. Except the line at Chick Fil A moves with lightening speed. You can get prescriptions and refills mailed to your home, you just have to jump through some hoops online to arrange it.

Kill 60 million babies, and that will create a shortage of workers.

Here in Pennsylvania, Kung Flu tests have to be supervised by the pharmacist, which takes him or her away from the pills. There is not any need for such supervision - the clerk could do it.
Same thing with injections.
Regulations are causing much of the shortage.

Walgreens is a poorly run pharmacy. They don't hire enough pharmacists to take care of clients during each shift. They are more than often understaffed and techs don't want to work anymore. The pharmacists are expected to fill prescriptions, call doctors and insurance companies, talk to the client about the drugs, give flu shots, Covid vaccines, shingles shots, etc, while standing on their feet all day with maybe a 20 minute lunch break or maybe not. They are losing pharmacists every day. No wonder there are long lines and angry customers.

Our local Walgreens pharmacy was poorly run long before the rollout of the covid vax. The lines to drop off/pick up RX have always been ridiculously long. And during flu-shot season, the pharmacy is absolute chaos. We've made online appointments for the flu shot, show up at the correct time but no one is available to give the shots or their system is down or they're out of the flu vaccine. You name the excuse, we've heard it.

The arbitrary cull of the "non-essentials" last year didn't quite nuke the economy, so this year they're trying the arbitrary cull of the un-vaccinated. Neither of those means a hill of beans, other than a. to create artificial shortages, and b. to create classes of people dependent on the government just to live. (The market economy wasn't creating those effectively enough by itself, and needed to have government force them into existence for the Bolshevik "reset" to happen...)

The day a Republican gets elected President his first order of business should be to shut down the office that sends out checks to people who DON'T want to work! Revamp the program. NOBODY gets public assistance longer than six weeks. NOBODY! That should help out the shortages of people who work in Pharmacy, Restaurant or Retail stores. We went out to dinner last night at a local place in the community I live in. The place was packed! We waited a half hour for a table, then fifteen minutes more before anyone even approached our table! Finally, the Manager saw what was happening and he came over with Water. He said they were "short handed". He also said they held a Job Fair at the other Restaurant they own and offered $500 to anyone who went to work for them and STAYED for TWO weeks. Guess what! Only four people signed on and THEY only lasted two days and quit! So! That tells me they are getting money from somewhere else! You got it! OUR GOVERNMENT...aka Us!

Keep electing Democrats and stop complaining; It will only get WAY worse. The cost of gas where I shop is up 45% within 9 months.

It was probably closed because the employees refused the vaccinations and were told they couldn't come to work. What do they know about the shot that we aren't hearing about from Big Brother?

The same trend is starting to appear across the country. Pharmacies are closed or have long wait times. No mention that Biden's vaccine edict is a big part of the problem.
