China carried out a second test of what is believed to be a hypersonic orbital missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead earlier this year, intelligence sources have claimed. The new test is believed to have taken place on August 13 and involved a similar 'hypersonic glide vehicle' to one launched into space on board a Long March rocket back in July, which was first reported earlier this week. Beijing has acknowledged one of the tests, claiming it launched a 'peaceful' civilian spacecraft. But analysts believe the craft can actually be tipped with a nuclear warhead which would be able to evade missile defences. Even government scientists are struggling

Something about this story smells. China replicates, it does not create. Whatever they have, IF they have it, they stole from the West.

Is it real?
Or is this misinformation by the Chicoms?

The graphic shows them 'nuking' DC with their new wonder weapon. I am trying to see a downside to that in 2021. We all know China isn't about to do us that favor, though.
As to the weapon itself, the graphic depicts a FOBS (Fractional Orbital Bombardment System). This is a far cry from a hypersonic glide missile, and it is hardly something new. It has advantages of being able to evade early warning systems since it is already in orbit (most early warning systems detect the launch, not the re-entry), but it isn't a giant killer like the breathless articles are portraying it as.

We have never been able to stop all ICBM's that could possibly be fired at us.
And although the Chinese have this one which is claimed to be so sophisticated, they cannot stop all of our either.
The thing is that they shoot their and we shoot ours mutual destruction.
That is the deterrent.

As always, in Intel would you really want us to confirm the device's existence to the traitor in our own government?

Then i guess china has conquered the world. General millie the hand maiden has perhaps given us a heads up, if permitted.
But color me skeptical of something that defies the laws of physics. Other than a tic tac.

Poster #2, when the Clintons were president, they gave the Chi-coms nuclear weapon technology in exchange for cash. That jumped their weapon knowledge by about two decades. The Chinese will reap what the corrupt Clintons sowed.

It more important to have a trans gender admiral and discharging non vaxxed servicemen. The chinks stole the plans from us so don’t worry we know how to kill it.

There is no speed limit in space. Thrust accelerates mass. No violation of physics here. ICBMs are always supersonic. What's the big deal? The accuracy? If our military is having a problem with that I volunteer to help solve it.

A simple statement from the Pentagon or Lets Go Brandon that "nuclear weapons come with a return address" is all that is needed right now. What we don't have are generals like the character played by Burt Lancaster in SEVEN DAYS IN MAYS. Maybe not so much to overthrow the government, but unlike General Milley or the admirals in charge of firefighting preparations aboard the Bon Homme Richard, leaders with a set of balls that don't look to Neville Chamberlain for inspiration.

I absolutely guarantee it does NOT "defy the laws of physics" regardless of what the ignoramuses at DM say or think. They are continuously in a hysteric fit about almost everything, and know nothing about guns or weapons systems, from past foolish articles.

how can anyone, with one scintilla of brain matter, even begin to validate any of this information, when no one can even prove, for a fact, that the Chicoms actually launched this missile - they're all taking the Chicoms word for it and they are denying it. - fake news.

Yeah, right... but we have Ohio class Nuclear Submarines that can destroy 80% of the population of China in a couple of volleys, not to mention a blistering ICBM salvo to finish China off for good.

WE could have the most significant arsenal in the universe, and China a board with a nail in it, and we lose.
We no longer have the will for the fight, nor the taste for the blood.
BUT we got bike paths, equity and all kinds of other neato stuff that sprang forth from the 19th amendment.
And Antifa, BLM, Democrats and other wonderful gifts from letting feeeeeelings drive voting and policy.
