The NCAA Standardized Test Task Force recommended that high school students preparing to compete in Division I or Division II sports should not have to submit SAT or ACT scores."This work reflects the NCAA's commitment to continually reviewing our academic standards based on the best available data and other relevant information," said Morgan State President David Wilson, who led a group of representatives in both divisions in carrying out a nearly six month project on the matter. "We are observing a national trend in NCAA member schools moving away from requiring standardized test scores for admissions purposes and

Even if they get rid of the ACT and SAT and let everyone into college, the only way they (and I mean anyone - no color needed) could pass the courses if everyone is guaranteed a passing grade. Would you want to be treated by a doctor that got his/her grades that way? Would you trust an engineer to build your building that got his/her grades that way?? Not me. Let's not even talk about the fact that a very high percentage of people shouldn't go to college but maybe a trade school.

No problem. Just let them in. They won't be able to do college work but that won't matter. They will get a degree anyway. They won't be employable above manual labor but no big deal. Since they are black we will just give them an extra check to make ends meet. They really don't understand that they are simply keeping blacks from attaining self-respect and needed skills to compete in the marketplace but maybe they do. Like importing millions of poor, uneducated people who will live off welfare for the reat of their lives and vote Dem forever.

The NCAA has tried to perpetuate the myth of the student-athlete. But now the NCAA has been pushed into the position of approving pay for student athletes, going to class is not too important. But if they go to school, you will find most athletes major in family studies, recreation, or sociology. (there are exceptions to that, but not many.)

Hey, let's just "be real". Tier 1 college athletes should be paid, with lots of bonuses and freebies. They shouldn't have to attend any classes. They play for 4 years, and get an "honorary" degree for their service to the university. According to the NCAA, they are professional athletes, only attending college to play sports. They don't have to be smart -- just dumb, strong and fast. I thought the NCAA was supposed to be about keeping the integrity of the college experience. What a joke!!! And FJB -- though that doesn't really have anything to do with this story, it just feels good to write it!!!

This is just another way for Colleges to get a bigger slice of the 'big money' pie that College Athletics has become. The kids are the ones who are hurt in the end, because the overwhelming majority of them do not get an education that leads to a career, and there's only one LeBron. If you get my point. If you really want to solve the problem, you could tie compensation of Coaches and Administrators responsible for overseeing Athletics to meaningful education goals. Anyone can get a degree in playground management if they show up. (Not saying that PM is not an honorable job, or the people who do that job are less then others). There's too much money involved, and when that's the case there will be cheating and corruption

As a U.S. Senator, Joe Biden was known as a political moderate. When he ran for president in 2020, he portrayed himself as the Democrats' middle-of-the-road candidate -- a man who could work with both sides of the aisle and unite Americans of all political persuasions. However, when being a moderate wasn't helping his chances of winning the nomination, candidate Biden quickly switched horses in midstream, adopting the far-left platform of socialist Bernie Sanders. This move won him the Democrats' nomination and made him beholden to the radical left-wing of the Democrat Party. It also called into question Biden's judgment,
