On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki claimed gas prices aren’t surging “in all parts” of the country. This, like everything else she says, is fake news.
“The American people are -of course- impacted by rising prices of gas, in some parts of the country, not all!” she said.
Fact check: Gas prices are up 41%.
Maybe SHE doesn’t feel the pain because of her high salary and her personal chauffeur, but every day Americans are struggling with the price increase.

The White House defended Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Friday for taking off two months of paid paternity leave — even as the national supply chain crisis worsened. White House press secretary Jen Psaki called Buttigieg a role model for taking so much time off after he and Chasten got baby twins. “[P]roud to work in an Administration that is fighting to make paid leave a reality for everyone, and with people like Sec. Pete Buttigieg who are role models on the importance of paid leave for new parents,” she wrote. (Tweet)

Hundreds of requests for details on the specifics of the container shipping backlog. So, I spent 3 days calling sources, digging for details and gathering information on the substantive issue at hand. (Snip) This has nothing to do with COVID-19.
The issues being discussed today relate to events that happened a long time ago. As a matter of fact, it was so predictable that Amazon, Walmart, UPS, FedEx, Samsung, The Home Depot and Target all had taken actions years ago -long before COVID- because they knew this day would come.

Donald Trump had an incredible legacy as president, but sometimes he can be his own worst enemy. More broadly, as the leader of the Republican Party, he’s ensuring that his self-inflicted wounds damage not only his own (presumed) electoral chances but those of other Republicans as well.
Clearly, Trump has yet to get over the fact that he is not the one currently sitting in the White House following the 2020 election. It’s true that millions of Americans wish he were currently the president, enacting policies to make America great. But as they say, if wishes were horses, then

Woke Walmart has trained more than 1,000 employees in critical race theory, denouncing the US as a “white-supremacy system”—and telling staffers to accept their “guilt and shame” and stop thinking “white is right,” according to leaked documents. The retail giant confirmed to City Journal that it has been working with the Racial Equity Institute, a North Carolina company devoted to “creating racially equitable organizations.” Walmart said it has “engaged REI for a number of training sessions since 2018” and has “found these sessions to be thought-provoking and constructive.” City Journal’s Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, said a whistleblower gave him a cache

ASHINGTON — First lady Jill Biden is set to campaign Friday for Democrats in governors’ races in Virginia and New Jersey, her most overt foray into politics since arriving at the White House nine months ago.Her involvement is the latest sign that Democrats are pulling out the stops in the upcoming elections, particularly in Virginia, where Democrat Terry McAuliffe appears to be in a tighter race than expected. Jill Biden will be followed by other high-profile party voices in the coming days, including former President Barack Obama and Stacey Abrams, the former 2018 Georgia gubernatorial candidate who has risen to national prominence. The return to the campaign trail will

They were hanging out late last Tuesday when members had to scramble for cover. Four people were injured when a gunman leaned out of a passing SUV and sprayed the area with what sounded like an automatic weapon—a theory confirmed by witness testimonies and the ShotSpotter. The incident last Tuesday extended a string of shootings involving ordinary handguns and rifles that were modified into fully automatic weapons capable of firing up to 1,200 rounds per minute.
The conversion process involves illegal devices commonly referred to as "Glock switches" or "auto-sears," which are readily available to buy on the internet or can be made on 3-D printers.

Many conservatives have talked recently about the need for a “national divorce” due to irreconcilable differences with the progressive left. (snip) We are talking about secession. And secession, in America, is anything but a civil or amicable process, and it’s useless to imagine it would be otherwise.
It’s only truly been attempted once, after all, and it led to the bloodiest war in our history. (snip) There was war because there was a bedrock, nation-defining question around the legitimacy of state secession that had yet to be answered.
That answer to that question was finally settled in 1865.

President Joe Biden is, once again, begging for oil.Among the torrent of executive orders President Joe Biden signed on his first day in office was the canceling of the permit to continue construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. The pipeline would have run from the Gulf of Mexico up to and laterally across Canada, thereby furthering U.S. energy independence, a hallmark of the Trump presidency. As of June 9th, the project is officially terminated (at least for now) having already killed thousands of jobs for seemingly no other reason than Biden’s proclivity for putting America last on the world stage, as evidenced by the fact that he later

During an interview with ABC News on Thursday, Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo stated that the economy is in transition, “and as part of that transition, we are seeing high prices for some of the things that people have to buy.” And “the only way we’re going to get to a place where we work through this transition is if everyone in America and everyone around the world gets vaccinated.” Adeyemo said, “Today, we face an economy that’s in transition, and as part of that transition, we are seeing high prices for some of the things that people have to buy. That’s exactly why the president was focused in the

Pete Buttigieg fired back at Tucker Carlson's claim he was 'figuring out how to breast feed' during his paternity leave and insisted he was still available to respond to the supply chain crisis while looking after his twins with husband Chasten.'I guess he [Tucker] just doesn't understand the concept of bottle feeding, let alone the concept of paternity leave', the Transportation Secretary told MSNBC's Deadline White House on Friday night.'But what's really strange is that, you know, this is from a side of the aisle that used to claim the mantle of being pro-family,
