Hunter Biden, the president’s son, reportedly sold at least five pieces of art for $75,000 each at his Los Angeles exhibit on October 1.“The Georges Berges Gallery sold the prints before the Oct. 1 opening of a ‘pop-up’ presentation in Los Angeles, a source familiar with the matter said Thursday,” the New York Post reported. “It’s unclear who purchased the reproductions — which cost a fraction of the top price of $500,000 for an original piece by President Biden’s scandal-scarred son — or if any more were sold after the LA show opened.”

China is sending record numbers of military aircraft to threaten Taiwan, warning “war may be triggered at any time” and asking the island democracy’s allies if they want to “become cannon fodder.”Team Biden’s response: Happy talk of how China’s president-for-life promised a month ago to keep the peace and having the Pentagon shift from Trump-era “great power competition” to “strategic competition” that “does not, and should not, preclude working with China.”Ouch. Talk of “peace in our time” is exactly the wrong answer to China’s “We’re ready to rumble” message. Washington needs to act, and now, to get Beijing to back down.

As we wrote earlier today, the Biden Administration is having a hard time dotting its I’s and crossing its T’s, when it comes to implementing a COVID vaccine mandate on businesses with 100 or more employees, something they assured us was needed immediately to control the Chinese virus across America. So far, it’s just empty promises — written on a piece of paper — somewhere in the West Wing. The current White House seems to have an ongoing issue in several policy areas with talking tough then not following through. One of the most glaring examples of this recently, of course, was the ill-planned, troops pull-out in Afghanistan.
