Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Tuesday announced new actions that his administration is taking to stop Democrat President Joe Biden from flooding the state with illegal aliens from the crisis that Biden created on the U.S.-Mexico border. DeSantis’s office announced the following three actions in a statement: First, Governor DeSantis has issued Executive Order 21-223 to prohibit all Florida agencies under the purview of the Governor from facilitating illegal immigration into Florida, unless otherwise required by federal or state law,

I love Ron DeSantis and am very fortunate to have him as my governor. But keep two things in mind: - He is up for re-election next year, and you can be sure that the entire Democrat/Soros/Big Tech/Media machine will be going all out to defeat him. Ron only won his first gubernatorial election (2018) by a hair, and the margin of error for him is very slim - Ron would be wasted in the vice presidency (assuming Trump runs and wins, which IMO is a bigger "if" than many here may choose to believe). And even if a Trump/DeSantis scenario were to pan out, a hundred unpredictable things could go wrong over four years to effectively scuttle Ron's presidential prospects.

Whole DeSantis can't deport them out of the country, why doesn't Florida deport them to Washington DC Delaware, or some other sanctuary city/state who should presumably welcome them with open arms.

I like DeSantis and with Trump being a bit coy as to whether or not he'll be running in '24, I figured DeSantis as the 2024 GOP nominee for president but one can't help but notice the contrast in opinions between DeSantis and Abbott, especially the angry demands for Abbott to deploy National Guard troops to stop at the border, the illegal invasion on the border that is being suborned by the Biden Administration. The headline of the article is very misleading. Nothing DeSantis has proposed will stop the feds from flooding Florida with illegal aliens. He is preventing his state agencies from cooperating with the feds but takes no action to stop the dumping of illegals in Florida. Why no calls for DeSantis to deploy his National Guard troops to prevent the illegals from entering his state? Is it because those making such calls with regard to Texas, know full well that Biden can and would nationalize any state's National Guard who are seen to be opposing Biden's policies? Politically, if DeSantis declares his candidacy for president before Trump and Trump opts-in at a later date, will the love for DeSantis go out the window if it looks like he'll be running against Trump in the primaries? If Trump were to jump ugly against DeSantis, would that erode some of Trump's presumptive support? Those two should get that situation worked out privately to avoid a public rift during a time when victory for Normal Americans is within reach.

Twitter fact-checked an obituary of a young mother whose death is being attributed to a blood disorder induced by COVID-19, prompting backlash from Republican lawmakers and members of conservative media. The social media giant put a since-removed "misleading" label on a tweet that included a link to the obituary along with the caption: "Seattle, WA — Jessica Berg Wilson, an ‘exceptionally healthy and vibrant 37-year-old young mother with no underlying health conditions,’ passed away from COVID Vaccine-Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia. She did not want to get vaccinated." Twitter's "misleading" label also included information on "why health officials consider COVID-19 vaccines safe for most people."

The 3,659 vacancies amount to an average of about two subs per each of the system’s roughly 1,800 schools — though the needs at some schools, including in Brooklyn and Queens, are far greater, according to an email sent Saturday and obtained by The Post. The starting dates for the fill-in gigs range from Monday to May 2022, though the bulk of the roles begin in October,

Thousands of America’s small businesses are teetering on the edge of permanent closure, and Democrats in Washington are about to give them one final shove. The result will be the further fraying of our social fabric and the permanent loss of working-class jobs. Over the last several months, small businesses persevered the best they could, holding on until “temporary” welfare programs driving people away from work expired. But if there were any doubt left that Dems’ ultimate goal wasn’t a temporary boost to Americans most impacted by lockdowns, but rather a calculated step toward government control and socialism,

President Joe Biden is prone to blatant whoppers, but his claims that turning America into a European-style welfare state via the biggest expansion of federal government in decades will cost nothing are truly in a league of their own. “My Build Back Better Agenda costs zero dollars,” he tweeted last weekend, repeating his Friday line — clearly thinking Americans will believe anything. Biden’s agenda includes $1.2 trillion for infrastructure and $3.5 trillion for social spending, the Green New Deal and other Democratic priorities. Some items in the plan are real doozies: $3 billion for tree saplings, with priority for “tree equity”; $5 billion for environmental- and climate-justice block grants;

The best way to do that: Vaccination and booster shots, he said. "We've just got to concentrate on continuing to get those numbers down and not try to jump ahead by weeks or months and say what we're going to do at a particular time," Fauci said.

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Yasmin Vossoughian Reports,” Rep. Torres said, “[T]here’s misconception about the price tag of the Build Back Better Act. The Build Back Better Act, the original draft, it is not 3.5 trillion over the course of a year. It’s over the course of ten years. So, it’s $350 billion. Which, for a $20 trillion economy like ours, is a modest investment. So, I think it’s shortsighted to focus on the price tag.”
