The U.S., U.K. and Australia have announced the formation of the AUKUS alliance, in open concert against Chinese expansion. “Britain has entered into a security pact with the US and Australia to counter China that will involve building a nuclear powered submarine fleet and wide-ranging projects on cyber warfare, artificial intelligence and quantum computing.” “The first programme of the AUKUS alliance will be the construction of a fleet of nuclear-powered submarines for the Australian navy, with American and British companies taking part in the manufacturing process.” This marks a radical departure for Australian defense policy, whose navy

No, it won't. Australia is nuts to place their trust in Xiden, and this US government. We will sell them out in a heartbeat. I don't mind the fact we are pissing in Little Boy Macron's corn flakes, but the Aussies should beware.

History repeating itself we are setting up the same scenario that caused Japan to be aggressive in WWII only this time it's China. Are you really prepared to have your sons and daughters did defending Taiwan? Especially with this leadership. China is the big dog of Asia like it or not and even if we force them with military threats we do not have the capability to integrate into their social and business structure to really influence them.

Consider great diplomats and politicians of the past. Tallyrand, Metternich, Lloyd George, Churchill, FDR, George Marshal, Truman and Reagan come to mind with many others. This grand alliance sounds like a good idea especially if Viet Nam and the Phillipines were invited as observers. The current administration will figure out a way to mess things up. Henry II screamed "...will no one rid us of these meddlesome fools?" In our time these fool names apply: General Milley ('woke' and Chinese sellout), Lloyd Austin (skin color tops resume'), Kamala Harris (San Franscisco courtesan), Joe Biden (alzheimers and deeply corrupt), Antony Blinken (of winken, blinken and nod, noted brownnoser), the list is endless.

For an alliance to work, the participants must be willing to exercise the alliance. Then the entire alliance is dependent on the US leader, Congress and the media.

It will not work, and I do not support it. This looks like some Biden and Blinken came up with. Why would we want to partner with New Zealand, 7 million people, or Australia, 38 million. Who do you think is going to do all the fighting, and pay for everything? That's right, the USA. No thanks. I like Trumps idea of increasing our relations with India.

What kind of nuclear submarine fleet would Australia have? two boats or four boats? New Zealand has already said the Australian nuclear submarines will be barred from visiting New Zealand where UK and US nuclear submarines are already barred from visiting.

The British energy industry is headed for a big shakeup as wholesale natural gas prices have been climbing since the beginning of this year. The latest gas price at the Dutch TTF hub, a European benchmark, gained on Monday to trade at 73.150 euros ($85.69) per megawatt-hour, close to the record high seen last week. The benchmark has risen a whopping 250 percent since January. British Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng felt it necessary to assure the British public that there would be gas to heat their homes this winter. “There is absolutely no question of the lights going out or people being unable to heat their homes,” Kwarteng told the House of Commons.

One does not wish to join the pandemic of viral fear whipped up by our political leaders, collusive medical “experts,” and the grossly irresponsible and programmatically ignorant media conglomerate. And yet, there is good reason to fear being inscribed in the category of “the unvaccinated”—the New Jews at risk of disenfranchisement and worse in the increasingly fascist temper of the times. From my perspective, this is not a frivolous analogy. Growing up Jewish in a small town in the north of Quebec under the sway of an ultramontane clergy, I know what it is to be publicly mocked, prohibited as an undesirable from entering certain local establishments, and fighting my

One recalls C.S. Lewis’ dystopian novel That Hideous Strength, a longtime favorite of mine, where he speaks of “false writings” and “men maddened with false promises and soured with true miseries.” Lewis held to an apocalyptic vision of moral and intellectual surrender to the idols of mere self-sufficiency and hedonistic indulgence, of a time characterized by the death of meaning and the weakening of belief in a just and merciful God. “The shadow of one dark wing is over all Tellus,” the human spirit is being progressively “enclosed,” as he describes it. There is not much of the Rapture here, little indication of the new Jerusalem prophesied in Revelation.

Old Joe Biden’s handlers are in the process of bringing 94,000 Afghan refugees into the UnitedStates, and really, only a racist, bigoted “Islamophobe” could possibly object to such a grand humanitarian gesture, right? Yet a migrant couple in Pennsylvania illustrated Thursday that there is ample reason to temper our enthusiasm over Old Joe’s welcome mat: Shahidul Gaffar, a naturalized citizen, and his wife, Nabila Khan, a legal permanent resident, both from Bangladesh, were sentenced to federal prison for sending nearly $5,600 to Khan’s brothers, who happen to be Islamic State (ISIS) jihadis. As Gaffar was sentenced, he declared: “God bless America, God bless the United States.”

The Chicoms are a little vague on who or what constitutes “sissy men,” but the real goal of the directive is to eliminate pop culture influences from South Korea and Japan and reinforce traditional Chinese Communist Party views on morality. Scientists have created the ultimate GM crop: contraceptive corn. Waiving fields of maize may one day save the world from overpopulation. The pregnancy prevention plants are the handiwork of the San Diego biotechnology company Epicyte, where researchers have discovered a rare class of human antibodies that attack sperm. By isolating the genes that regulate the manufacture of these antibodies, and by putting them in corn plants, the company has created tiny horticultural factories that make contraceptives. 'We have a hothouse filled with corn plants that make anti-sperm antibodies,' said Epicyte president Mitch Hein.
