The names of more than 500 female athletes were included in an amicus brief filed Monday with the Supreme Court that calls on the nine-member panel to uphold abortion rights. “Women’s increased participation and success in sports has been propelled to remarkable heights by women’s exercise of, and reliance on, constitutional guarantees of liberty and gender equality, including the right to reproductive autonomy,” the filing stated. “Continued access to, and reliance on, those rights will empower the next generation of girls and women to continue to excel in athletics and beyond, strengthening their communities and this nation.

Comments:

I'm very happy to note - - that my favorite female athlete - - Rachel Alexandra - - did NOT sign this petition. She remains very dear to my heart.

From the general looks of a lot of female athletes, their last worry should be getting impregnated and needing to kill their unborn.

They may be a friend of the court, but they certainly are not to future children. Contraception is cheap and reliable. Pregnancy today is not a bunch of bad luck and poor timing for the woman.

Pregnancy is 100% preventable. How about addressing pro-active solutions instead of reactive ones? I was once pro-choice when I was in my 20s-30s, but it has-albeit slowly-dawned on me that a fetus has absolutely no say as to who it's parent's are, but it DOES have just as much right to survive as any other human being alive. And the Left, despite it's claims of fairness and equality, simply delights in manipulating those they claim to represent, no matter how many piles of bodies or oceans of blood are shed to ensure they maintain power. Hell is filled to overflowing by people like Sanger, Pelosi, Schumer, Kerry, Biden, Clinton, Cuomo, Schiff, etc.

The pregnancy prevention plants are the handiwork of the San Diego biotechnology company Epicyte, where researchers have discovered a rare class of human antibodies that attack sperm.
