Biden's Vaccine Mandate Has Nothing To
Do With Fighting COVID

Original Article

As soon as President Joe Biden announced his plan for a widespread vaccine mandate to fight COVID-19, protests erupted. And rightly so. But the real reason Biden chose now to announce it is so he could claim credit for what is already happening with COVID. In what is almost certainly a vast overreach of his executive authority, Biden declared that he’d develop “an emergency rule to require all employers with 100 or more employees, that together employ over 80 million workers, to ensure their workforces are fully vaccinated or show a negative test at least once a week.” Of course, this mandate will raise constitutional challenges.

In the immediate short term Biden has to change the subject away from his retreat and surrender to the Taliban of Islamist Afghanistan. Biden and his handlers believe that “emergency mandates” are the way to do that, as they know that the compliant and politicized media will go along with any mandate that they announce. Beyond that Biden is pushing for a huge big Government power grab to where all the leftist and socialist Democrats will have to do in the future is to declare an “emergency” to get around federalism and the historic interpretations of the US Constitution to wipe out the rights of individual US citizens in favor of big government mandated socialist style collectivism.

I discussed this a bit with an active duty Marine on terminal leave. He says that many in his unit were serious about not getting vaccinated, and would be willing to take a general discharge instead. I think that we are reaching a point where the folks that have not bee vaccinated will pretty much just NOT get The Shot, and will just deal with the consequences of the coercive efforts rather than risk the danger of The Shot for long term health.

Stand up tall my friends. I have a dear neighbor friend who informed me I will have a life time of complications from surviving the Virus whereas if I had vaccinated it would have been a little cold. She then said we couldn’t talk anymore because we have opposite opinions. I responded she was always free to talk to me and though we disagree I will always love her. Then she said,”I’m so sick of all this. If people would just comply and wear their masks and get vaccinated it would stop the variants we would be over this. We have too many freedoms in this country people should be made to comply” I asked if she was reading about Israel. She had no idea. I asked her to look at Sweden she had no idea. I asked if she was aware of the therapies proven to save infected people were being denied usage in hospitals because bad orange man said they were good. She said that’s not true. Sigh, I really miss our friendship but she said she has to stay away from me and all unvaccinated and turned and marched off in her little blue mask she will probably wear all day. Sigh

We know that 177 million have taken the vaccine shots, and skews to the over 50 who were the original target group. Of the roughly 80,000,000 not vaccinated, about 1/4 is the 12-18 age group (junior high and high school age). They have only recently had the option. Asian-Americans are one of the highest groups to get the vaccination, then Whites. Latinos then African-Americans are only in the 40% and lower range. California is only at 56%, Pennsylvania is 54.8% and Illinois is 52.8% - why such low numbers? So, the democrats are essentially targeting people of color and minors. Has anyone considered there are groups who live rather remotely and won't come into contact with most other people for most of their entire life?

I notice that everyone is focusing on the vaccine mandate and missing the more insidious part of the order. The order requires either vaccination or weekly testing. The mandating of weekly tests for people even without any symptoms of disease is the more evil part of this order. The false positive rate of these unreliable covid tests will assure that the pandemic emergency can be extended indefinitely. Even now, the reported case level and is probably twice the actual rate of infection and the statistical variation in the random false positive test results will assure that there will always appear to be covid infection hot spots somewhere. I believe this is a calculated feature of the order, not an accident.

From coronavirus vaccines and the virus’ origin to climate change, a substantial portion of the country distrusts scientists to do their jobs honestly and capably. The latest data from the September Issues & Insights/TIPP Poll also found significant differences among Americans of different political views, reflecting a growing politicization of science in America. The I&I/TIPP poll asked Americans “how much trust do you place in scientists” in three areas of science prominent in today’s headlines: “vaccine safety,” “climate change,” and “coronavirus origin.” Overall, among the three, vaccine safety was tops

Everything, that is, except rescuing Americans stuck in Talibanistan. In his eight short months in the White House, Biden has made the already empty phrase “whole of government” a nauseating cliché.

Despite zero evidence that human greenhouse gas emissions are harming Earth, the Democrats, cheered by the media, continue to enact energy policies they say are necessary for saving our world. But all they’re doing is increasing energy scarcity, which forces prices higher, and ignoring facts that don’t fit their narrative. America’s worst energy policy offender is California, where the ever-eager-to-mandate-and-forbid ruling class is outlawing automobiles that burn fossil fuels, halting electricity generation from conventional sources, and executing a war on gas stations.

Among the few things that Democrats and Republicans agree upon these days is that the rapid and chaotic departure of U.S. troops after a 20-year military occupation of Afghanistan was a disaster on many levels. A new I&I/TIPP Poll asks Americans the question: “Who, besides the Taliban, bears the most blame for the recent tragedy in Afghanistan?” The answer came back loud and clear: The largest share of voters, 40%, blame President Joe Biden. A smaller yet still significant share, 23%, blame Donald Trump. The other choices included Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin (2%), Secretary of State Anthony Blinken (2%), and the U.S. intelligence agencies (10%).

That’s a third of the migrant children it was supposed to be tracking. “In 2018, the Trump administration was criticized for being unable to account for the whereabouts of around 1,500 children released from HHS shelters during a three-month period,” Axios reports. “There were around 4,500 such minors as of the end of May who had been released under the Biden administration.”
