'Several hundred' Americans are unsure
whether to leave Afghanistan, US

Several hundred American citizens in Afghanistan still haven’t decided whether they want to leave despite an “ongoing aggressive outreach campaign” and the fast-approaching withdrawal deadline for US forces of August 31, U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price said Friday. Price told reporters that since August 14 – the day before Kabul fell to the Taliban – at least 5,100 American citizens have been evacuated, including 300 in the previous 24 hours. “There are approximately 500 American citizens we are currently working with who want to leave and with whom we are communicating directly to facilitate their evacuations,” Price said. “We

If they are fans of the Taliban or ISIS then by all means stay. But this more like a convenient excuse to wave goodbye on 8/31 and declare 'victory'.

Anyone who believes that there are only 500 Americans out there is an idiot. The original number of Americans first reported was anywhere from 11 to 20K now all of a sudden there are only 6K. This is an adminsitration that just throws one lie after another and hopes that in all the confusion you will somehow believe them. There are thousands of Americans now hiding in Afghanistan and their deaths will be on this little beady eyed creep's hands.

As indicated most of the US citizens in Afghanistan are native Afghans who are duel nationals who hold both Afghan citizenship and naturalized US citizenship who are in Afghanistan of their own accord, have large families that, and obviously look at the political situation there differently than it is being portrayed by the Biden Administration, the “woke” military Generals, and the media propagandists. Over the last few months those people had ample opportunity and were warned by the US Embassy to leave Afghanistan because of the uncertain dangers there. They did not leave and decided to take their chances. The same goes for all the Afghans in Afghanistan who are permanent resident aliens, who have been issued US “green cards” that authorize them to live and work in the USA as immigrants, the big difference is that they are not US citizens. Looking into the future, chances are that many of the so-called “vulnerable” Afghans who are now being transported to the USA at US Government expense, after gaining a legal immigration status in the USA that will allow them to return to the USA after taking foreign trips, or later on naturalized US citizenship, when the smoke clears, will return to Afghanistan just as the Afghan people are doing now.

This is just more of the meme they started 2 weeks ago about getting out all of the Americans “who want to come home”. They’re building up a story which will enable them to say that those who were left behind, taken hostage and murdered didn’t want to come home. They’re already blaming Americans for still being there in the first place. I got news for them - that dog don’t hunt.

We are using the carefully-parsed meme "any American who wants to come home" for a reason. Yes, it's certainly possible that the WH is providing an excuse in advance for not getting all Americans out by AUG 31. But it's also possible that we are trying to establish that those who "choose" to remain in Afghanistan are friends of the Taliban and would be loyal to them. It's anybody's guess as to why this might be done. Just some food for thought.

KABUL, Afghanistan — The Taliban deployed extra forces around Kabul’s airport Saturday to prevent large crowds from gathering after a devastating suicide attack two days earlier, as the massive U.S.-led airlift wound down ahead of an Aug. 31 deadline. New layers of checkpoints sprang up on roads leading to the airport, some manned by uniformed Taliban fighters with Humvees and night-vision goggles captured from Afghan security forces. Areas where large crowds of people have gathered over the past two weeks in hopes of fleeing the country following the Taliban takeover were largely empty. A suicide attack Thursday by an Islamic
