Call this suicide by Democrat. We have suicide bombers in the White House. We have suicide bombers in our governor's mansions. Worst of all, we have suicide bombers directing the U.S. economy. This is the Titanic. This is the Hindenburg. We are headed for disaster. New York City now demands vaccine passports to go into any restaurant, bar, nightclub, gym -- even retail store. Los Angeles followed suit. So did San Francisco and New Orleans. How many more will follow? Las Vegas, my home, the entertainment capital of the world, isn't far behind. You now need proof of vaccination to enter concerts, conventions, even Allegiant Stadium, the home of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders.

A Republican House member is clapping back at Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her hypocritical requirement that all members wear masks though video surfaced of her attending a swanky event near her home in California over the weekend where she and nearly all guests were dining maskless and in close quarters.
“Pelosi has decreed–she’s like the Gestapo, I call her a ‘Gestapelosi,’ m-m-k? Gestapelosi has decreed that members must wear masks or get fined. Then, staff members can be arrested and jailed. Our Empathizer-in-Chief has no clothes. The crisis in Afghanistan, mushrooming with the force and immensity of a nuclear bomb, is clearly a huge nuisance for President Biden. His demeanor this week is that of a sullen 12-year-old boy whose summer vacation has been cut short.
He had to be dragged from Camp David to address the nation last Monday, and as the week went on he couldn’t believe this was still a thing. Irritation is his current mood.
Not even gentle questioning from friendly Democrat George Stephanopoulos could elicit sympathy from Joe.

Joe Biden is a latter-day Ozymandias, with a tremendous thirst for power and a misplaced sense of invulnerability. But unlike the ancient royal ruler, it will not take eons for Biden's power to erode.
After four years of President Trump putting America first and gaining respect on the world stage, the American position abroad has crumbled. The Biden administration has wrought so much destruction that it is difficult not to despair about what the future holds. In no place is despair more warranted than in Afghanistan, a country being subjugated by the Taliban now that Biden has ended the American occupation. Women and girls who thought they had a chance for a brighter life are being thrust back to the Dark Ages and sexual slavery.
And yet, even in this horrific time, there are heroes among us rising to the occasion.

If you ever doubted that the country was in the hands of some very stupid and corrupt people, this week should have thoroughly disabused you of that fantasy. In one fell swoop, the administration left billions of dollars of military equipment in the hands of the barbarous anti-American Taliban; broke the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance by bugging out without warning to its members who were in Afghanistan in support of our mission there; left as many as 50,000 Americans and tens of thousands more of our Afghan allies to the not so tender mercies of the enemy; and on Friday Biden lied about it all.

I’m not a supporter, not even a fan. But this is not about that or the short temper you show off anytime someone dares push back against your assertions in an interview (or the insecurities and shortcomings that trait helps to mask), this is about what to do in Afghanistan.
I wouldn’t normally write. Watching your policy agenda fail is something I enjoy, but this isn’t policy, this is lives. I don’t want to see people die in order to have more people realize how in over your head you are in this job.

The disaster that is the withdrawal from Afghanistan coupled with other innumerable debacles that Joe Biden has singlehandedly precipitated in just seven months should not come as a surprise to anyone who has paid attention to his career. His fifty-years as a politician is littered with a litany of failures due to unforced errors, countless flip-flops, plagiarism, cupidity, mendacity and demagoguery all brought about by an overweening sense of infallibility and egocentrism.

President Biden has decided to adhere to his initial August 31 deadline for withdrawing American forces from Afghanistan, multiple outlets reported on Tuesday.
Biden has requested contingency plans should the U.S. need to keep troops in Afghanistan until a later date, a senior administration official told CNN. A Taliban spokesman said on Tuesday that the U.S. must withdraw all its forces from the country by August 31, with “no exceptions.”
In response to the Taliban threat, Senator Ben Sasse (R., Neb.) urged Biden to ignore the withdrawal deadline.

Longtime conservative commentator and vocal critic of former President Trump Bill Kristol on Tuesday endorsed Democratic nominee Terry McAuliffe in the Virginia governor's race.
