A Colorado Springs father’s speech against critical race theory at a school district’s board meeting is taking the internet by storm.
The black man was clear that America is not a racist nation and that racism would “by and large be dead” if not for liberal institutions “keeping it on life support.” Turns out, his opinion appears to have helped persuade the board to vote to ban CRT.
“I am a direct descendant of the North American slave trade. Both my parents are black. All four of my grandparents are black, all eight of my great-great-grandparents, and all 16 of my great greats.

IMHO, however and from wherever your ancestors came to this country, you should thank The L-rd G-d that they did. Just take a look at that country from which your ancestors fled/were taken, and thank G-d you're not there now. I don't care whether european, middle eastern, african, asian or native american (which would probably still be without the wheel and other western inventions!). At this point, who, other than G-d, knows what ancestor was included in your mix. He made us for such a time as this. . .Not a victim, a victor in His Grace, Mercy and Power.

Black people with this kind of courage and intelligence give us hope for the rest of them. Imagine the progress they could be making in society if they dropped this racism nonsense and worked on building their lives.

The divide in this nation is not about skin color, it is all about character and shared values. This guy proves that. He is a success, someone you would be proud to call friend. What binds us together as Americans is our allegiance to the ideas that created this country. We value freedom, the opportunity to make something out of our lives, the concept of law and order, and love of country. Only leftist democrats look at everyone through the prism of race. The people who I want to be my neighbors and friends are people who value what I value. I don’t care what color they are and I know the majority of Americans feel the same way. Democrats try and push division down our throats simply because it benefits them politically which is a heinous motivation by any standards. This guy gets it and he can articulate it. He speaks for all of us who are sick and tired of being sold that tired old racist bill of goods by the democrat party.

#8, I believe this nation was well on it's way to being a people focused on concept of law and order, shared values and love of country. Then the Zero presidency came along. He took office with a racist chip on his shoulder determined to put America in her place, and get even with white people, even though he is mostly white himself. And now look at how we have slid down the slope. It will take decades to bring us back, if ever. Extremely sad and frustrating. We can lay this at his feet, no question.

This gentleman’s name is Derrick Wilburn. He writes for American Thinker. Andrea Widburg (one of my favorite contributors at AT) posted an article about this Colorado school board meeting yesterday (August 20).
Andrea’s article included the school board video link. Must see. Must read.

According t the article, the dad said, “Racism in America would be dead today if not for certain people and institutions keeping it on life support. Sadly, one of those institutions is the American education system.”
The liberals will never let racism die. Because if racism dies, so does the Democrat party. With them, everything is about race. They are the most racist people on earth. A black conservative speaking truth and values is their worst nightmare, and more and more of these brave conservatives are coming forth on a daily basis. The wretched libs can't have it. Watch for them to go after Larry Elder big time with lies and fake accusers. They have no shame.

Thank you for the information, #10. Widburg is one of my favorites too and is always a must read.
As I’ve posted before, this is personal for me. My adopted daughter is half Mexican and her husband is half black, so my grandchildren are tri-racial and a lot of my in-laws are black. When Wilburn spoke about babies born today being indoctrinated to hate each other, he was so right on the mark that it made me dizzy. What would CRT teach to my grandchildren? That their black genetics should hate their white and brown genetics? That they should hate both of their bi-racial parents? Talk about child abuse! As he stated, CRT must be killed so that racism can finally die.

This man is telling the truth. Race relations had improve marked since 1960. Only when the "community organizer" Obama became President became President racial relations decline. (It should be noted that the main tactic of community organizers is divide groups by exploiting differences and promoting discontent and hate.) Then, President Trump made economic conditions better for everybody and race relations improved, in spite of the MSM and Democrat attempts to encourage riots. CRT, BLM, and Antifa are products of the Obama/Biden administration aided by their MSM useful idiots..

A round of applause for a fine, sensible man who doesn't want racism to be revived in this country by the race hustlers and haters of the left.
