Making children wear masks in the classroom can stunt language skills and exacerbate anxiety, a health report commissioned by the Irish government has found. The Health Information and Quality Authority's report published in March informed Dublin's decision not to mandate masks for children in elementary schools. The HIQA paper noted that transmission of Covid was low in schools and that young children found it difficult to wear face coverings properly. The scientists also gave evidence that masks had adverse psychological impacts, including causing anxiety and inhibiting the development of communication skills.(Snip)In Britain, school children under the age of 12 have never been required to wear masks

My pre-teen granddaughter is terrified about taking off the masks. The teachers in her charter school told them about sickness and death. I have been nudged by my family to not make a big deal about it. I can get mouthy on some subjects.

Instead of a benevolent world where children are free to play and learn and grow properly, we've given them a depersonalized world with ever-changing and invisible deadly things to fear, and the only thing that can save us is Big Government, of which we need more and more. The psychological arm of the medical/pharmaceutical cabal will make out like bandits in the years to come. That stimulates the economy, which Americans perceive as a good thing.

#1, it seems like this is the precise time to explain to your granddaughter that she has been lied to and the masks do NOT provide protection. She needs to understand when to worry, and when some adults are lying to her.

No child should be mandated by any governmental entity to wear a mask in a classroom. It's child abuse unless worn with the child's free consent, un-influenced by others.

One of the things that bothers me about masks is the inability to see the full expression on a person's face. If you have a mask on, I can't tell if you are smiling at me or not when I walk past you in a store. You can't see the trembling lips of a masked child when they are hurt but trying not to cry, and so on. Masks make it hard to read people, and that's very dangerous.

Most people in my town have dropped the masks (pop 30,000). Only saw one in grocery store today. This is Georgia of course and our governor never mandated masks. After Dr. Fraud said we needed them even after fully vaxxed most everybody here said to hell with them and quit wearing them unless the business required them and that’s just a couple of Doctors offices now.

Stunt language skills is right. Try listening to someone with a rag over their mouth. I have excellent hearing, but the muffled mumble has me asking two or three times. "What the hell did you say?", or, "What did they say?" I've suddenly accused of hard of hearing, when in reality people mumble and now they mumble through a mask.

I find both masks and neckties uncomfortable. Neither solves a problem. But I do what is expected. Cheat. When no one is looking pull the mask down so your nose can get some air. Unloosen the tie when no one is watching. With runaway inflation, illegal immigrants flooding across our borders, crime so bad you can't go shopping being forced to wear a mask is way down on my list of things to worry about.

The wellbeing of American children is of no concern whatsoever to our federal government. In fact they see an opportunity to harm the little ones psychologically and physically because there are "vaccines" to sell.
