The Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine has issued guidelines that suggest employing such terms as “chestfeeding,” “human milk feeding,” and “parent’s milk” to promote what it calls “gender-inclusive language.” The ABM position statement on “infant feeding and lactation-related language and gender,” co-authored by eight doctors and the academy, said that “the use of de-sexed or gender-inclusive language is appropriate in many settings.” “ABM recognizes that not all people who give birth and lactate identify as female, and that some of these individuals identify as neither female nor male,” said the four-page document posted July 29. Suggested “gender-inclusive terms” for “breastfeeding” include “chestfeeding, lactating,

President Biden is dispatching his special envoy for the Horn of Africa to Ethiopia as a war in the rebellious Tigray region escalates, creating a humanitarian crisis that has already left thousands dead. White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said Friday that Mr. Biden has asked envoy Jeffrey Feltman to begin negotiations between the Ethiopian government and Tigray’s People’s Liberation Front. “Months of war have brought immense suffering and division to a great nation that won’t be healed through more fighting. We call on all parties to urgently come to the negotiating table,” Mr. Sullivan wrote on Twitter.(Snip)The Ethiopian government and the Tigray’s People Liberation Front (TPLF)

Persistent claims that leftist congresswoman Ilhan Omar married her own brother to get around US immigration laws may be legitimized by what appears to be a conclusive DNA test. The results of the test assert that there is a 99.999998% chance that Omar and her second husband Ahmed Elmi are siblings.
The report, drawn up by Endeavor DNA Laboratories does not name either Omar or Elmi, instead referring to them as 'Sibling 1' and 'Sibling 2.' DailyMail.com understands that Omar is Sibling 1. It says that Sibling 1's sample was garnered from a cigarette butt and Sibling 2's from a drinking straw.

Making children wear masks in the classroom can stunt language skills and exacerbate anxiety, a health report commissioned by the Irish government has found. The Health Information and Quality Authority's report published in March informed Dublin's decision not to mandate masks for children in elementary schools. The HIQA paper noted that transmission of Covid was low in schools and that young children found it difficult to wear face coverings properly. The scientists also gave evidence that masks had adverse psychological impacts, including causing anxiety and inhibiting the development of communication skills.(Snip)In Britain, school children under the age of 12 have never been required to wear masks

Sean Hannity on Wednesday night demanded to know why arrests had not been made in the case of Hunter Biden—pointing out that the FBI have had possession of the president's son's computer 'for quite some time'. Hunter's laptop, which was left at a Delaware repair shop, first became a political football in October 2020, and has provided a steady stream of damaging stories ever since. On Wednesday DailyMail.com obtained new video from the laptop, in which Hunter claimed Russians stole another one of his laptops for blackmail while he was close to overdosing in a Las Vegas hotel room.(Snip)Hannity demanded to know what was taking

The current crop of COVID-19 vaccines may not be as effective against the Indian 'Delta' variant compared to the original strain of the virus, a new study suggests. Researchers from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, found that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine—the most commonly used shot in the U.S.—was only 42 percent effective against infection in July. Meanwhile, the Moderna vaccine was only 76 percent effective. The highly contagious Delta variant is the dominant strain in the U.S., and there are fears that it has a unique ability to cause breakthrough cases among those who are fully vaccinated. There is also growing conversation about booster shots

Three people died and eight others were injured over the weekend after their vehicle fled from the Border Patrol on a lengthy chase across southern Arizona and agents deployed a Grappler System on the interstate to try to immobilize the vehicle and end the pursuit. The fleeing Jeep Liberty careened across the interstate into oncoming traffic, crashed into a tractor-trailer and bounced back into the median, where it caught fire.
All 11 people in the vehicle were either dead or required hospitalization. A Liberty’s seating capacity is supposed to be five. The deaths add to a growing string of fatalities in the border surge that began under President Biden

President Joe Biden was filmed seemingly ignoring the direction of a Secret Service agent tried to direct him to a path leading to the White House.
In Biden's latest bizarre gaffe, the president was filmed returning to the White House after spending time in Wilmington, Delaware when the agent points for him to follow the sidewalk path into the White House.
Instead, Biden is seen following the agent up the lawn and through the garden into the presidential estate.
The video has left shocked critics of the 78 year-old president once again surmising whether Biden is suffering the effects of cognitive decline.

The White House on Wednesday called on OPEC and its allies to boost oil production as gas prices continue to climb, threatening the nation’s economic recovery. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement the administration has spoken with OPEC members urging the group to increase production. OPEC, which stands for the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, reached an agreement last month with its non-OPEC allies, known as OPEC+, to increase oil production by 400,000 barrels per day. But Mr. Sullivan said that isn’t enough to bolster the oil supply.
“While OPEC+ recently agreed to production increases, these increases will not fully offset previous production cuts
