Joe Biden Weighs Mandating Vaccines for
Interstate Travel

Original Article

Posted By: Dreadnought, 8/13/2021 12:07:45 PM

President Joe Biden is weighing vaccines mandates for interstate travel, according to the Associated Press (AP) on Thursday. “Still, while more severe [coronavirus] measures — such as mandating vaccines for interstate travel or changing how the federal government reimburses treatment for those who are unvaccinated and become ill with COVID-19 — have been discussed,” the AP writes, “the administration worried that they would be too polarizing for the moment.” For the time being, the White House seems content with shaming those who are unvaccinated, while demanding private companies mandate vaccinations for their employees. For instance, Biden told churchgoers April 1, they were being ungodly if they did not become vaccinated.

Totally unconstitutional and impossible to enforce. Just another day, another attempt at tyranny. Imagine if Pres. Trump tried this.

The average age at death in the USA is EXACTLY the same for Covid as it is for just living! Covid is a non-starter for killing people, unless doctors refuse to treat it after a person is hospitalized for it. Some poor 27 year old Californian caught Covid, went to the hospital and his doctor said, now, it just has to run its course," instead of giving him anything for it. Only in FLA and Texas can you be assured that your doctor will treat you rather than watch you die. Ivermectin and HCQ are not even available thru your doctor here in Utah.

If this comes to pass, I wonder how they will enforce it? To enforce it 24-7 nation wide, on all the highways and backroads, they would either have to use 1/2 of the military and national guard, Divert ALL of federal, state and local police from their other duties, or establish a new federal agency with half a million agents. Or I suppose they could do it the cheap way; block the interstates, execute the first thousand or so unvaccinated travelers and scare everyone into compliance. Plus if they do set up checkpoints even just on the interstates, can you imagine the traffic backups? Hours for each state line. Store shelves will often be bare nationwide, since they already don't have enough truckers getting supplies through. I'm glad I already had no intentions of ever crossing a state line again.

Biden's Justice Dept will find justification for this under regulation of interstate commerce regulation. By some stretch of their imaginations they will say that Interstate Commerce regulations give them the right to ban interstate travel for the unvaccinated. The useless Supreme Court will somehow agree. Biden is turning the USA into a police state run by a bunch of Fascist Democrat Socialists aided by the willing media.

The Taliban has taken control of Afghanistan’s Jalalabad without a fight, according to officials and a resident, effectively leaving the capital, Kabul, as the last major urban area under government control. The key eastern city, which is also the capital of Nangarhar province, fell early on Sunday morning. Its fall followed the Taliban’s seizure of the major northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif. The armed group posted photos online on Sunday showing its members in the governor’s office in Jalalabad. “We woke up this morning to the Taliban white flags all over the city,” said resident Ahmad Wali, confirming the Taliban’s social media claim. “They entered without fighting,”

What will it take for Joe Biden to admit he is disastrously wrong about Afghanistan? The US leader struck a defiant pose last week. Sounding like a slightly desperate Olympics coach, he told Afghans it was their country. If they want it, they have to fight for it. In American politics-speak, this is called tough love. Without the love. Biden has more hands-on foreign policy experience than any president since George HW Bush. That doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing. Opinion polls suggest his abrupt Afghan withdrawal has majority public support. That doesn’t mean Americans will remain indifferent as the carnage and misery mount.

We’re one month out from the California recall election and the polls have continued to tighten, though most of them predict Newsom surviving by a slim margin. Their concern for the welfare of the state (or should we simply say “the welfare state?”) seems touching, but the editors also don’t do a very good job of hiding their real reason

Joe Biden announced his decision to withdraw all military forces from Afghanistan, while explicitly deriding the idea that the Taliban would quickly take over the country. He was wrong. Now he has been reduced to pleading with the Taliban to be nice, lest they forfeit their entitlement to foreign aid. We have to go back at least to the Carter administration to find such pathetic behavior by a president. Having grossly miscalculated the situation in Afghanistan, Biden is now scrambling to return forces to that country, equivalent to those he just withdrew. His only goal at this point is to get American citizens out before we see pictures of helicopters

It is early yet, but as of today it looks like the top issues in next year’s Congressional elections will be the cost of living, crime and critical race theory. If that turns out to be true, Democrats are in serious trouble. People aren’t happy about it: this Fox News poll finds that 70 percent of respondents consider grocery and gasoline prices to be a hardship for their families, with 29 percent considering them a serious hardship.
