The W.H.O. seeks a moratorium
on Covid vaccine boosters so
more people can get initial shots.

The World Health Organization called on Wednesday for a moratorium on coronavirus vaccine booster shots until the end of September to help all countries vaccinate at least 10 percent of their populations, appealing to the world’s wealthiest nations to address dramatic disparities in global vaccination rates. “I understand the concern of all governments to protect their people from the Delta variant,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of the W.H.O., said in a briefing. “But we cannot — and we should not — accept countries that have already used most of the global supply of vaccines using even more of it, while the world’s most vulnerable people remain unprotected.”

Comments:

Complaining that most of the vaccinations were delivered in high- to middle-income countries… Never mind that we are supporting all of this, including the WHO. Who gives him the authority to do this? And what happens if a country like the US pays no attention to him?

He lost all respect and credibility. He needs to step down and let someone with integrity take over. That is, if you can find anyone like that in government any more.

More people topping off with the boosters might reveal that the unexpected and rare side effects aren't as unexpected and rare as they're cracked up to be. It's healthier for the profit margins to dismiss the breakthrough cases as caused by a novel variant, rather than admitting that the so-called vaccines do not work well at all for the stated purpose. No doubt all of this has been mapped out well in advance.

“Breakthrough” cases are autoimmune responses from/to the vaccine. Our immune systems do not forget in a few months. Liars, liars, liars.

Biden team’s misguided and deadly
COVID-19 vaccine strategy

The Biden administration’s strategy to universally vaccinate in the middle of the pandemic is bad science and badly needs a reboot. This strategy will likely prolong the most dangerous phase of the worst pandemic since 1918 and almost assuredly cause more harm than good – even as it undermines faith in the entire public health system.Four flawed assumptions drive the Biden strategy. The first is that universal vaccination can eradicate the virus and secure economic recovery by achieving herd immunity throughout the country (and the world). However, the virus is now so deeply embedded in the world population that, unlike polio and smallpox, eradication is unachievable. SARS-CoV-2 and its myriad

The White House confirmed Thursday it is considering requiring foreign visitors to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition for international travel. Jeff Zients, the White House COVID-19 response coordinator, told reporters on Thursday that several federal agencies are examining the possibility of issuing such a mandate. “We will be ready when it is the right time to consider reopening,” Zients said at a White House COVID-19 briefing. He appeared to confirm anonymously sourced reports that administration officials will have to present proof they’re vaccinated against the virus. There is still no timetable on when the United States will resume international travel to certain countries,

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, directed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, spent $424,455 in taxpayer funds on experiments to infest beagles with parasite-carrying flies, even though the procedure had already been extensively tested on other animals. White Coat Waste Project, the government watchdog group that obtained the documents, found that about half of Fauci’s $6 billion budget was used for animal experimentation, including the abusive dog experiment. The funds were directed to the University of Georgia Research Foundation to conduct the experiment. “According to documents that we just obtained using the Freedom of Information Act, Fauci just spent $424,000 to commission a study in which healthy beagles are given an

Results of a new poll out Thursday show California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom deep underwater with little more than a month to go until voters cast their ballots in a statewide referendum. According to a survey of 1,100 Californians conducted Aug. 2-4, more than half were in favor of Newsom’s firing, while only 40 percent were opposed. The poll, conducted by Survey USA with the San Diego Union Tribune, illustrated bipartisan support for the recall effort that was also showcased in the petitions drawing about a third of all signatures collected from Democrats and independents. Republicans said they supported Newsom’s removal by an 8:1 margin, while Democrats said the same 3:1.

The FDA on Friday announced that it had revised its emergency use authorization (EUA) for REGEN-COV, a treatment consisting of jointly administered casirivimab and imdevimab, expanding its use beyond just the treatment of patients who test positive for the virus. While the product remains authorized for treating confirmed COVID-19 patients over age 12 who are at high risk of severe illness, the agency said the drug combo can now be given to high-risk groups as a measure
