In Anaheim, California, Disneyland worker Judy Hart, 62, says she’ll never get the COVID-19 vaccine because it’s “experimental.” What about masks? Hart wears one while working retail sales at the most magical place on Earth, but nowhere else. “It’s against our freedoms,” she says. “And I’m not some religious weirdo who thinks it’s the mark of the beast. After more than 18 months of a pandemic, with 1 of every 545 Americans killed by COVID-19, a substantial chunk of the population continues to assert their own individual liberties over the common good. Apparently, 2,000 deaths per week from COVID-19 is so bad we must mandate vaccines, wear masks and lockdown. But in a normal flu season 4,000 to 6,000 people die from the flu every week.

This “newspaper” is a total farce. You might do better with People’s Daily or Granma.

100% Emotional blackmail. The virus is a tool to force people to submit to govt control. Greater good ? Ya mean like being used to cheat on a election, destroy a robust economy, to destroy private business's and people lives ? That " greater good "? The elected and non elected people that are running this scam , their lives have not been negatively impacted. Dictators enjoy dictating. They love it, live for it.

They used to leave USAToday on the counter in many of the hotels where I stayed on business trips. I left them alone, not wanting lefty propaganda, even for free.
Then they started shoving one under your door each day. OK, right in the trash can. Two can play this propaganda game.
To Hades with this propaganda rag.

At what point is the State allowed to force you to risk your life by taking a vaccination that has not even been given final approval by the FDA? And if vaccinated persons can still get and transmit the disease, there is no "common good" argument for compulsory vaccination.

So, using the same analogy, abortions must stop for the common good, correct? We are saving lives. No longer my body, my choice.

#6 - I don't care if FDA does give final approval. I will never take this crap 'vaccine'. Informed consent is a 100% impossibility due to all the lies and misinformation about the safety of this garbage the the government has spent the last 6 months spreading. Had you been right up front about everything, including the side effects, risks and shortcuts taken to get this to market, I might at one time have considered it. That ship has sailed.
They started lying about this way before the election, and the lies continue to this day. Big Pharma and Big Gov have conspired to push one of the greatest lies ever told to the public. I will never consent.

To answer the headline question: Never!!!!!
This was never about public health, and it sure isn't about public health now!!! This was an experiment by lie-beral dictator-wanna-be politicians to see how far they could go in controlling the masses of peasants using fear of a virus, before the peasants would start fighting back. And they succeeded far beyond their wildest dreams.
I live in super lie-beral Austin Texas. There are still a large group of mostly "Karen" lie-beral women who clog up our neighborhood Internet pages crying about how some stores and restaurants are still refusing to go back to requiring masks. So, at least with lie-berals, the dictator-wanna-be politicians have won!!!

At what point will personal fearmongering give way to common sense? The reporting on this virus has been demonstrably self-contradictory and manipulated to distort truth, rather than disseminate it. And the "public health" measures being dictated to us are repeatedly being ignored by the very people who are issuing them.

In Austin you have a T shirt that says Keep Austin Weird.
In Houston we have one that says Keep Austin 170 Miles Away From Me.

How important exactly is the common good in the disease that is almost 100% survivable?
Potential for harm for yourself or others is practically zero.

It depends upon just who is determining what is “the common good”. In the past Biden told us that paying more taxes was “patriotic”. Now he rants that being vaccinated with unapproved experimental gene therapy injections is “patriotic”. That is his hook for all of the things he wants done.

You can make this argument whenever three or more are involved. That’s why most people don’t.

Hart's quote is interesting about not being some religious nut blabbering about the mark of the beast. I had not considered it too seriously either until recently, especially when DeBlabbio of NYC just announced the unclean...er...unvaccinated will be excluded from dining and various venues as NY's first measure to get tough on the unvaxxed. Seems a little beast markish to me.

I find talk of "common good" truly frightening. It's a very short leap from 'vaccinations for the common good' to 'Ezekiel Emanuel no one needs to live past 75 for the common good'.

So, Dennis, please tell me exactly what the personal freedom to get an abortion has done for the common good?

There is no "common good" either in wearing masks or in getting the shot. The common good here is democrat control over people and that is never good.
