Climate Scientist Warns ‘Next
20-30 Years Will Be Cold’

Climate scientist Dr. Willie Soon has urged his fellow academics to pay closer attention to the sun’s activity, which suggests several decades of global cooling rather than warming. Speaking this week with Alex Newman of the New American, Soon, a Malaysian astrophysicist and aerospace engineer, said that “what we predict is that the next 20-30 years will be cold. It will be cold, so it will be a very interesting thing for the IPCC to confront.” The sun is in a “weakened state” and far less active than during the 1980s and 1990s, Soon noted, which should last until “around 2050.”

Comments:

Tomorrow's weather will be hot followed by decades of cooling with probability of masks.

Regardless of being caused by the sun's activity, within a decade this will be touted as a success for the Green New Deal that progressives push through. They stopped global warming.

Global cooling was a big deal back in the early 70's. Warnings of a little ice age was common. I guess global cooling wasn't as big a money maker as global warming because in less than five years, the term global cooling disappeared.

Congrats to the climate alarmist crowd. Whatever you are doing to end climate warming is working perfectly. Just keep doing that thing you do. PS...Jimmy Carter, with his return to global cooling prediction, actually lived long enough to see his prediction of a return to a mini ice-age. Remember, it's Trump's fault and we progressives inherited this mess from him.

There is a group of well-credentialed Russian scientists who have been predicting this for several years. Another 'Little Ice Age' will be much, much worse than a couple of degrees of warming. Crop failures, food riots, wars for food, and fossil fuels. Not a good scenario. In the last one, the canals in Venice froze over and the Thames froze solid. Food production declined and we had a pretty miserable and cold life in those days.

The Oxford English Dictionary defines tolerance as "the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with. A recent poll by the Survey Center on American Life at the American Enterprise Institute found that Democrats are twice as likely as Republicans to report ending a friendship over a political disagreement (20% versus 10%). Liberals are also "far more likely than conservatives are to say they are no longer friends with someone due to political differences" (28% versus 10%).
