Greta Thunberg said she is 'extremely grateful and privileged' to receive her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination—and blasted the distribution of the jab worldwide as 'extremely unequal'. The Swedish climate activist, 18, tweeted a photograph of herself wearing a fox-print face covering with a plaster on her upper arm, using the hashtags '#VaccineEquity' and '#VaccineForAll'.(Snip) But she went on: 'The vaccine distribution around the world is extremely unequal. Privileged Greta yanks a needle from the arm of a Needy African while accusing the rest of us of hogging the doses, while the US taxpayers provide "free" drugs to the world in order to benefit Big Pharma. I'm doing my part; I encourage them to take all of my doses.

When the poor countries develop their vaccines, they are free to keep them to themselves or share them as they wish. Until then, we developed the vaccines first, we got to use it first , and we are sharing it, probably free. If the other countries wanted the vaccines faster, they are free to purchase them like the US government did.
