So the vaccinated are "running out of

It seems as if every day we see another slew of headlines about the Delta variant and “resurgence” of the virus in this or that place. In reality, even some of these surges involve a number of new positive tests that are still vastly lower than during the height of the pandemic last winter. Still, there are cities that are bringing back mask mandates and complaining loudly about the slow vaccination rates. These complaints are being picked up in the liberal media, with the vast majority of the blame being cast at a predictable group: white, Republican Trump voters.

I got the Pfizer vax because I didn't want to put up with the political BS, and don't want to wear one of those useless masks in the office, per California law. (Plus, I'm 69 y/o and don't give a damn). No ill effects, not even a sore arm. Do what you want to do.

That’s nothing compared to the unvaxxed running out of patience with the pontificating and bullying of the vaxxed. I had a client last week who did not want to get vaccinated. She is healthy and in her 50s, very dedicated to natural health. Her only daughter, whom she raised on her own and put through med school, badgered her night and day, screamed at her, enlisted the help of her doctor husband to tag team the bullying and threatened to send photos of people dying with Covid to her unless she complied. This went on for weeks. Weeks. They wore her down, and now she is vitally afraid of what might lie in store for her. What kind of people do this?

That's all the rage in the Bay Area: "We're all gonna DIE!!!" This is all based on the rapid increase in CASES. IMHO, these are coming from the illegals coming through the southern border and getting transported all over the US by Biden. The Delta variant spreads faster than the original covid, but doesn't hit as "hard" (hospitalizations, deaths) as the original did. Just track the hospitalizations and deaths in your area, since if they get out of hand, the medical system could break down. The CDC has a new webpage for tracking hospitalizations and deaths, broken down to the state and county level:

Yesterday I saw a guy wearing a t-shirt that said 'I identify as vaccinated.' Gotta get me one of those! Heck, if a guy with a pendulous lower part can 'identify' as a female and compete in the olympics (lower case on purpose), why the heck can't I identify as 'vaccinated'? I take ivermectin. I'm a heck of a lot closer to being covid safe than he is to being 'female.' I choose to identify!

I just don't get it. Not in the least. What threat am I to a vaccinated person? Neither one of us is more or less susceptible to getting or giving COVID. Though I have heard reports of a "shedding" syndrome, where vaccinated people may be a threat to me.

DeSantis blasts CDC for K-12 mask recommendation:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' office sharply rebuked the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for urging that all children, regardless of vaccination status, be required to wear masks when school returns in the fall. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky on Tuesday cited an increase in COVID-19 cases from the delta variant for the changes, which also recommend some vaccinated individuals to resume wearing masks in certain situations to protect against COVID-19. "It isn't based in science. There is no indication that areas with mask mandates have performed any better than areas without mask mandates. In fact, this policy could actually backfire," DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw told Fox News.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview Tuesday that President Joe Biden’s mask mandate surrender represents the latest instance of Biden’s “worst start of any administration in history.” Jordan, the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee and House Freedom Caucus cofounder, spoke to Breitbart News after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that they will recommend Americans, even fully vaccinated people, should wear masks indoors again in places with high coronavirus infection rates. This stands as a stark reversal of the CDC’s decision to lift the national mask mandates in May, in which Biden declared that his administration had made substantial progress

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended Tuesday that all students in kindergarten through 12th grade should wear masks when they return to classrooms for the new school year. The newly issued CDC guideline includes youngsters who have already been vaccinated. CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky urged all schools reopen to in-person learning in the fall, but with proper safety protocols — and that now includes masks. "CDC recommends that everyone in K-12 schools wear a mask indoors, including teachers, staff, students and visitors regardless of vaccination status,"

The White House on Tuesday struggled to explain why the Centers for Disease Control would announce new masking policies across the country, despite ongoing faith in the effectiveness of coronavirus vaccines. “I know this is slightly awkward timing,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki acknowledged at the beginning of the daily press briefing. The CDC scheduled a briefing on their new mask guidance for later in the afternoon. Throughout the briefing, Psaki repeated that the administration was still battling the coronavirus, despite weeks of sunny rhetoric celebrating President Joe Biden’s success in handling the pandemic.

Luntz’s Republican focus groups have been telling him that for months, before the partisan gap on vaccinations began to widen and long before Fauci came under scrutiny for his agency’s role in funding bat research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. He’s almost uniquely incapable of persuading reluctant Republicans, a key demographic, to get their shots at this point. I want to believe. The Los Angeles Times and a new poll from UC Berkeley (!) have me questioning my skepticism over the potential for success in November’s recall of Gavin Newsom. In a reversal of Newsom’s previous momentum, California voters split into a virtual tie on jettisoning their governor (via Twitchy): Californians who say they expect to vote in the September recall election are almost evenly divided over whether to remove Gov. Gavin Newsom from office, evidence of how pivotal voter turnout will be in deciding the governor’s political fate, according to a new UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies poll co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Times.

The fascist left obviously learned nothing from the AIDS crisis of the 1980s, where the healthy were persecuted as walking biohazards simply because they were gay. Today, the healthy being persecuted as biohazards are the unvaccinated. Those who choose not to get vaccinated are almost no threat to those of us who are vaccinated, and yet they are the ongoing targets of the left’s rising bigotry, hate, and social exclusion. This is reprehensible behavior, straight-up bigotry, and like all acts of bigotry, history will not be kind to the bigots. There is, though, one vital difference between AIDS and the coronavirus. Thirty-five years ago, the fatality rate for AIDS was 100 percent.

Top Biden administration officials are weighing whether to recommend that states and communities with low vaccination rates reimpose mask mandates, particularly indoors, as part of discussions on how the administration can do more to slow the spread of the Delta variant. White House and health agency officials debated the option at a Sunday meeting that took place amid a surge of Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations in the South and Midwest, according to four individuals with knowledge of the matter, and that reflected an increasing sense of urgency inside the White House and across health agencies about the more contagious variant and its ability to alter the course of the pandemic.

Perhaps one of the most ludicrous claims of the last few years is that the news industry still represents a bulwark against government tyranny and exists to help preserve the freedom of Americans. Instead, over and over, the press has shown themselves to value dictatorial pronouncements from their chosen politicians over speaking out for individual rights. That was made clear again yesterday during White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s press briefing. Imagine being so radical and subservient to government power that you would actually beg the Biden administration to exercise more of it over you. Here’s PBS’ Yamiche Alcindor, perhaps the most shamelessly biased reporter in Washington, to start things off.
