Next year’s midterm elections will be as good to Republicans as the seminal 1994 vote, which gave the GOP unified control of Congress for the first time in more than 40 years, Sen. Lindsey Graham predicted Monday night.
“I think there’s a tidal wave brewing,” Graham (R-SC) told Fox News’ “Hannity.” “I think this is going to be 1994 all over again. When you look at rampant inflation, out-of-control crime and a broken border and just [a] general lack of knowing what you’re doing, lack of competency … the Republican Party’s going to have a great comeback if we recruit the right people.”
I predict that someday, you will be giving lap dances to Juan McStain in Hell, you little squish.
The Republicans aren't going to win anything in 2022 without serious election security reform, and even if they do, they will be a bunch of gutless cowards that curtsey to Pelosi, Schumer and Lunch Bucket. You know the type, Miss Lindsey.

Huh! We will see when it happens. We had Contract with America then and a capable Newt Gingrich as speaker of the house. Who do we have now? McCarthy from CA?

I think Republicans will make good gains in 2022 even with rigged voting but the problem is the damage the rats will do in the 18 months between now and when the next Congress actually takes control. It may be irreversible by then.

Lindsey must have forgotten the democrats have learned new cheating tricks when it comes to elections. He could have lost to a Soros candidate. Too many fools out there still think Biden is sound of mind.

If we had fair elections in this country, he would be right. Of course, if we had fair elections in this country, President Trump would still be president!!!!
But with the perfection of election theft that the Demon-Rats mastered in 2020, combined with a Republi-Can't Party that doesn't have the cajones to stop them, I can't see the Demon-Rats ever losing power in DC again.
Oh, sure, they will still allow the occasional spineless Republi-Can't to win to keep up the illusion of a 2 party system. But I can't see a Republican ever winning a major election where control of either house of Congress, or the presidency, is at stake!!!

I hope 2022 will be 1994 on steroids, but between the Dems’ cheating and the Pubbies’ knack for self-sabotage, I’m taking a wait-and-see attitude.

Newsflash, Lindsey Darlin' they didn't have Dominion machines back in 1994, just the usual dead and dying and bus-around voters. If the republicans don't publish the results of these audits in detail and the offending states don't get the cheating fixed, nothing is guaranteed but the coming dictatorship.

If we win back the House, it will be an uphill battle, given social media, national media, a corrupt DOJ and FBI, a politicized DoD, Democrat governors and state Supreme Courts doing all they can to make the election a repeat of 2020, plus a crescendo in the Jan 6th hearings that began today.

Lindsey Graham is a delusional wind bag. The American people have been irredeemably dumbed down and have become increasingly more entitled since 1994.

Talk is cheap, Lindsey. You usually fold when it comes time to vote in the Senate.

It took the demosluts six months to ruin everything, and because Republicans are mostly useless, it will take 50 years of conservative representation to fix it.

So here's my question posters....are any of you gonna work to get better Republican candidates to run in your states/areas??? Are you gong to support these newer, younger candidates??? Or are we just going to complain here and not really do anything?
I'm backing a couple of younger GOP candidates where I live. No, they aren't perfect but I'll take honest over perfection, newer ideas over recycled ones. And I don't have any litmus tests I expect them to pass nor do I care whether Trump might endorse them or not.

Lindsey Graham is one of those "all talk no cattle" Republicans. He's a discple of the Paul Ryan/Mitch McConnell school of politics where the goal is to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

The GOP will never take back the Congress if the whiners and naysayers on this thread are representative of the party faithful.
Then there's Newt Gingrich. Yes, he was capable. However, be careful what you wish for! Newt was also guilty of ethics violations that got him reprimanded by a 395-28 vote. (That's more lopsided than the 67-22 vote that censured McCarthy in 1954.) The fall of Gingrich made it easy for Clinton to get re-elected.
No. 21 is right. The "right people" means capable candidates who also can win elections. Grassroots Republicans and conservatives (not the same thing at all) must get together to find and back these candidates.

Not a chance. The Dems will cheat again. It used to be that they would only cheat when the margins were close. They are emboldened now. Even if the margins are wide they will manufacture the needed "votes".

#21 - "...are any of you gonna work to get better Republican candidates to run in your states/areas??? Are you gong to support these newer, younger candidates???"
To answer your question, yes...yes, I am. I will be volunteering for the local party and to help a few carefully chosen candidates. As a matter of fact, one is my son.
And your apparent point of supporting newer, younger candidates is well taken. It fascinates me when people elect the same old when the issues today ore much more complex and many involve technology. Think that 85 year old retired lawyer railing about the same nonsense for the past 40 years is your best choice? Amazing how many do...and complain nothing gets done or changes...and complain when things do.
