Psaki does U-turn on flagging
Facebook content, says no efforts

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has switched rhetorical gears on the Biden administration’s role in flagging “misinformation” on Facebook. Days of outrage over multiple comments regarding the removal of COVID-19 posts prompted a U-turn of sorts by Ms. Psaki on Tuesday. “We’ve not asked Facebook to block any individual posts,” the Democrat told reporters when pressed for details on its relationship with Facebook. “The way this works is that there are trends that are out there on social media platforms. You’re aware of them. We’re aware of them. Anyone in the public can be aware of them.”

Comments:

Ha ha, imagine holding an opinion that runs contrary to Rightthink! We americans are at liberty to think and say what we want, and our full-service government is free to add us to a database and make sure we can't spread unapproved ideas is all.

BS. She is a lying witch. They got caught because this dumpster fire of an administration can't even get their lies in order together. Fakebook is an integral part of the deep state data mining information against US citizens, just as Google and NSA are Sympatico - if not actually one. Admitting this crap was a slip that a more competent administration would not have made. This is just as believable as Lois Lerner denying that IRS went after conservatives and Tea Partiers when the evidence of such was overwhelming and thrown right in her face. If we had an actual news media, Nasty Nanzi would have never been let off the hook for this blatant lie. Since what we have is just another arm of the deep state, all sins forgiven. Barf.

Rep. Ilhan Omar is leading House lawmakers demanding the Biden administration create a special envoy to combat Islamophobia, citing a rise in anti-Muslim incidents across the globe. In a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the lawmakers said the U.S. must take the lead in combatting the phenomenon. “As part of our commitment to international religious freedom and human rights, we must recognize Islamophobia as a pattern that is repeating in nearly every corner of the globe,” the lawmakers wrote. Back when Arizona Democratic Sen. The costumed Nazi was Mr. Kelly, dressed “as Hitler,” said the National File, a right-wing online publication that also broke the story about another controversial photograph, one from Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook showing two men, one dressed as a Ku Klux Klansman and the other in blackface. Mr. Northam first acknowledged he was one of the men in racist garb, then denied it.

Focusing on a country's own people and not the world's population allows for more mutations of the virus to pop up and in a global world, a deadly variant in one place poses a threat to everywhere.
