Lawsuit breathes life into
publication’s claim that Mark
Kelly dressed as Hitler at party

Back when Arizona Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly ran for office in 2020, a black and white photograph surfaced of someone in a Nazi uniform, taken from a yearbook dating from the time the former astronaut attended the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. The costumed Nazi was Mr. Kelly, dressed “as Hitler,” said the National File, a right-wing online publication that also broke the story about another controversial photograph, one from Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook showing two men, one dressed as a Ku Klux Klansman and the other in blackface. Mr. Northam first acknowledged he was one of the men in racist garb, then denied it.

Comments:

Being a leftist confers certain protections and privileges that simply are unavailable to the rest of us. Elder Statesman Bill Clinton: "I did not have sex with that woman." Gov. Ralph Northam: "I did not dress as a klansman or in bLACKface, despite the photo caption calling me Ralph 'Coonman' Northam." Prime Minister Justine Trudeau: "I have not been photographed in bLACKface many times."

Hitler, Hitler, Hitler This has gotten tiresome. Ever come across someone at a party or meeting wearing a stick on badge that says " Hi !!! I'm Joe Hitler".

Mark Kelly should be sitting in prison for attempting to purchase AR-15s via strawman purchases in a personally conducted sting against several gun stores. He failed miserably, but he should be no different than any other private citizen that gets prosecuted for this very thing. Not one FFL would sell to him, and several reported him for the attempt to ATF, who did NOTHING to prosecute him, since his was Blabby Giffords spouse. I personally know of one idiot that did time for this very thing in our community, so getting busted is a very real thing for straw man purchases. Since Kelly's 'motives' were in the right place, the law doesn't apply apparently.

I don't care what costume or makeup Kelly or anyone else wore years ago. If we are going to deplore the cancel culture crowd then stop trying to use the same foul technique. There are always plenty of more serious policy/philosophy issues to run against and on. Yes, we must run vigorous campaigns but we don't have to imitate the stupid demwits.

Screw it, Maybe it was a "youthful indiscretion." You know if a Republican Senator had such a picture in his past, demands for resignation would be on 24/7. The Ariz senate candidate for this seat (I think it's up in 2022) needs to start buying billboards honoring Senator Hitler.

The Department of Justice has decided not to investigate whether the civil rights of residents in New York’s government-run nursing homes were violated by Gov. Homeland Security Department officials on Friday officially canceled contracts for 31 miles of border wall construction that had been planned for Texas, saying the barriers were “not necessary” to save lives or help the environment. Construction hadn’t started on the two segments, and the federal government hadn’t yet acquired new land that would have been necessary to build the wall there, the department said. President Trump left office with about $2 billion in congressionally allocated wall money unspent, though most of the money had been earmarked and put under contract. Friday’s decision marks the first cancellation of those projects. The Biden administration said it’s part of a broad review

The rule was set to encourage players and coaches to receive the vaccine. Any staff member who is labeled a “Tier 1” member is required to receive the vaccine. The league has also said

At least 270,000 migrants have sneaked into the U.S. and burrowed into communities across the country so far this fiscal year, according to the latest Border Patrol data. Agents know them as “gotaways” who represent an acute national security risk, according to the head of the National Sheriffs’ Association’s border security committee. Unlike the migrant children who often surrender to border authorities and the migrants who are caught and screened before release, gotaways sneak through the country’s defenses without any look into their criminal histories. A federal judge blocked a West Virginia law banning transgender athletes from competing in girls sports, saying the legislation likely runs afoul of the Constitution. Judge Joseph R. Goodwin, a Clinton appointee, said if West Virginia wants to treat people differently, there must be a compelling reason to do so. “I have been provided with scant evidence that this law addresses any problem at all, let alone an important problem,” the judge wrote in a 15-page opinion. West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice, a Republican, signed the Save Women’s Sports bill in April. The legislation requires the state’s public schools to allow biological females only to compete in girls sports.
