Secretary of State Antony Blinken is neither naïve nor stupid. So why did he invite United Nations officials to investigate systemic racism in the United States? It cannot be for the sophomoric reason he stated:
“Responsible nations must not shrink from scrutiny of their human rights record; rather, they should acknowledge it with the intent to improve.” (snip) We could write the report right now, without even knowing that the UN Human Rights chief, Michelle Bachelet, has already endorsed reparations on July 12 after issuing a UN report on systemic racism in late June which called for wide range of reparation measures.

I thought the lefties had reached the top rung of the ladder with their craziness but this talk of reparations they seem to be serious about
tops them all. This is the most asinine thing they could propose. If the blacks can't see this bribery for what it is they should talk to someone who can explain it to them. This tops them all and much more !!!.

The UN has ZERO say in anything that we do in the USA. Their comments are meaningless.

Here is a simple solution. Everyone who supports reparations can send a voluntary check to the UN. Gald to help.

Well we should pay the day after Germany pays the world for WWI and WWII. Good old fattie Merkel has a few dollars to spare now that she is cozying up to her new bestie Vlad I am sure. How about the Africans pay back all the money that flowed there from the US? How about the Spanish pay back all the South Americans for all the damage they did. Perhaps the Chinese should pay all the world trillions for this Covid mess. It seems to me that everyone owes everyone for something, sometime. Half the world owes us for saving them from Hitler and then protecting them from Stalin. See it is a never ending game of paybacks or payoffs however you want to look at it.

Paying for the sins of people who lived centuries before you were born is evil in itself. No one should be forced to pay for something they had no part in. If the democrat party wants to be serious about this reparations thing, they are the ones who owe something to the black community. They are the party of Jim Crow, segregation, and the policy that destroyed the black family, LBJ’s, The great Society. The rest of us bear no responsibility whatsoever.
We must stop looking back at history through the lens of the today values. That is totally irresponsible. We learn from history but we cannot judge what happened at that time with the values we hold today. History is unique to itself. Every society in the world owned slaves at some point. In fact, many still do today. This country fought a civil war that cost over a half million lives to abolish this horrific practice. While we are not as a country perfect, we certainly have paid a high price and one that no other country has paid.

Reparations in this age is extortion from people who had nothing to do with slavery by people that never experienced slavery. The truth is that Blacks in Africa capture and sold other Blacks in Africa as slaves. (Slavers and slaves being from different tribes.)

There is a portion of black society in the US along with the race hustlers who keep this alive the hustlers know better but it's a money maker. Students are being taught racism along with black students to keep feeding the fire of racism in the future that's what CRT is. The UN is just perched ready to take over while idiots like Biden along with his SOS hold the door open for them.
The United States has had it's soul extinguished I'm not really sure we are full blown socialist yet but the left is surely testing the waters. These are the times that try men's souls there are solutions. Donald Trump has shown us how to deal with this for starters.

Another piece of the puzzle to complete the Great Reset; the destruction of the American way of life, the American middle class and the constitutional Republic that is only 250 years old. That the personification of evil that is the democrat party and its installed president and administration are the leaders on this, confirms their blind and hateful stupidity and demonic bent. We watch and weep and pray to God he will save our beloved country. So happy I have no kids.

Can you imagine how horrible 8 years of this regime will seem? I didn't expect to have to suffer through 8 years of the Obama regime, but it happened. Do you wonder how Obama got re-elected? The same way Biden got elected. If the fraud isn't openly exposed and election integrity improved by the state legislators then we may not ever see a real honest election again. It now looks to me like every department of the federal government has been corrupted by the deep state elitists.

How about reparations for those who fought in the Civil War for the Union. They gave up years, life, and limb to free the slaves owned by Democrats. If you want reparations for blacks let’s start with the Democrat party. Let’s see how that works out.

The UN doesn't rule our country...so stick your reparation where the sun don't shine... with the china virus stimulus payments and now baby bonuses going to every black and hispanics voter the democrats can reach... I think reparations are well on their way...it's a typical bait and switch...scare the population into thinking that the UN is gonna be on their pocket...all the while nervous nancy and chuck schemer along with biden/obama are sending reparation checks to their potential voters...here's a thought for the lefties/greenies... eventually you're gonna run out of OUR money... then what?...Venezuela?

Descendants of slaves are far better off than if they had remained in Africa. Most own cars and other products of the western world. They can always go back to their Ancestral home, but I don't see lines forming to go there.

Nationwide non-payment of taxes in protest would get the reparations fools' attention pretty quickly, as opposed to trying to jail every taxpayer in the USA.
Next, EXPEL the UN from American territory ASAP. Let's see how they do without American funding.

You know American Thinker your articles are becoming redundant. With the obvious stolen election and the
collusion on part of both parties, who cares about Joe Dementia's SOS.
I am 72 watching my country fall apart, and the 'don't cares' are eating me alive.
I never watch news anymore much, and American Republican conservative thought smells worse
than a load pig truck in North Carolina. Go talk about tax cuts or something.
America is being destroyed and who is in charge? Why Rona McDaniel. lol, lol, lol. What a joke. Bye America as Ben said.

Reparations must include a one way ticket back to Africa with no right to return. It might be worth it.

Like we did with the American Japanese who were held in forced captivity by that great open-minded Democrat, FDR, I am willing to vote to spend tax dollars on giving reparations to any living person who can prove they were personally held in slavery bondage with the approval of past Federal governments. Heck --- I'll even include their direct birth children. But that's it! Four, five or six generations ago is a non-starter. If you and your family can't make something of yourselves in over 150 years, look at your problems coming from within --- and stop blaming everyone else.
The black ... sorry, Black ... middle class in the USA is big & strong with many being not just college educated but working in well paying professions. So much so that there are many, many black ... sorry, Black ... individuals and families that are quite wealthy now. Even more wealthy and successful than some of the decedents of the original slave holders! How's that happen in a racist society?
Lastly, when the British government pays me reparations for how they screwed my mom's Irish ancestors 150 years ago, I'll be happy to share that money with so-called American slave descendants.

Why would any oppressive state today decide to reform and enact human rights? The newly freed could immediately seek monetary revenge against them!
